Another epic moment from Hussein Obama selling America's security to the Russians. At the tail end of his 90 minute meeting with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev Monday, President Obama said that he would have more flexibility to deal with controversial issues such as missile defense, but incoming Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to give him space. The exchange was picked up by microphones as reporters were let into the room for remarks by the two leaders. And heres the exchange: President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but its important for him to give me space. President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility. President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py8BF0hHPnc"]President Obama CAUGHT! Assures Medvedev of flexibility Nuclear missile defense after election.webm - YouTube[/ame] This Like old times when Clinton sold guidence systems to the Chinese Newly declassified documents show that President Bill Clinton personally approved the transfer to China of advanced space technology that can be used for nuclear combat. The documents show that in 1996 Clinton approved the export of radiation hardened chip sets to China. The specialized chips are necessary for fighting a nuclear war. "Waivers may be granted upon a national interest determination," states a Commerce Department document titled "U.S. Sanctions on China." "The President has approved a series of satellite related waivers in recent months, most recently in November, 1996 for export of radiation hardened chip sets for a Chinese meteorological satellite," noted the Commerce Department documents. These special computer chips are designed to function while being bombarded by intense radiation. Radiation hardened chips are considered critical for atomic warfare and are required by advanced nuclear tipped missiles http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2003/9/29/25139.shtml This is why I never vote Dimocrat. Through actions like this Dimocrats have encouraged more wars that all the Republicans combined
Sounds like he's offering an 'I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine' deal, doesn't it? Wonder how many Russians will be voting for Barack in Nov? Prob about the same number as voted for Putin recently, eh? *wink wink*
what part of the word "negotiations" is hard to understand? Never mind in this case all he was referring to is the fact that the Russians cannot expect much progress on missile defense until after the election.
For some posters, "I hate Obama" = "anything Obama does/says is treasonous." It's a variation on that old standby, "Anything I don't like is unConstitutional."
Luv it how Obama needs libs to tell us what he REALLY means. What part of 'After my election I have more flexibility' means negotiations to you?
Well preceding that statement they were talking about space. Space to me means that he can't talk with them right now until after the election. Flexibility to me means that he has the space/time to deal with their issues after the election. Flexibility to you means that now that he doesn't have to worry about the election he could somehow give the Russians what they want with out abiding by the law, lol. You guys are funny!
No, I'm taking his words literally... just like he said it: Note how he didn't say, "After my election I have more SPACE?"
once again Conservatives show that they either have never read the Constitution or have no regard for it.
How about the part where Russia and the US have been in nearly constant conflict over the installation of a missile defense system in countries near Russia: conflict that has escalated sharply at times ? How sharply ? Russia has begun re-arming with nukes and ballistic missiles, and stealth aircraft, and other goodies, and has made no secret about who the"Main Enemy" is likely to be. You don't have to be a lib to know this -in fact most don't even want to hear it. It does help to do a little research before shooting off one's mouth.
Obama offered aid and comfort to I primary adversary if that adversary would help him get reelected. He offered to disarm and weaken our national security if reelected and that he would not be reelected if he made disarmament sounds before the election. Obama is just trying to be worse than Clinton and Carter. Carter was the first president since FDR to help Russia. Cater gave Russia bearing making technology that helped Russia make the small bearings that you have to have to build small gyroscopes for warhead guidance. Russia could hit within a couple of miles of the target before Carter but after they could hit with in yards of the target. This means that every dem president since 1920 same, maybe, Truman and Kennedy, have helped Russia gain strength and get to where they are now. well, , We don't know what the Russian spy that was sleeping with Kennedy got for Russia.
Obama will be president for another term and he will have more flexibility as a second term president. The man was just stating facts. Treason..... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
What's funny is that the OP thought that nobody else would bother to post this "important" story... http://www.politicalforum.com/curre...ia-making-promises-after-his-re-election.html http://www.politicalforum.com/current-events/240777-obama-caught-talking-off-microphone.html http://www.politicalforum.com/russi...a-medvedev-ill-more-flexible-my-2nd-term.html http://www.politicalforum.com/latest-world-news/240808-obuma-ready-throw-us-under-russian-truck.html
The old " Cold War" ("Progressives" to the contrary) never really ended - although Middle-of-the-Roaders like Obama have been making some gains. George W. Bush thought he had met a soul-mate in Putin - if some of his fatuous remarks are a guide - but Putin was less than enthralled...and has said so, from time to time. One bit of evidence suggesting this is the number ( said by some to be in the thousands ) of SVR-controlled agents the US has been flooded with. Another might be Russia's almost frantic attempts to arm its subs with a nuclear-capable missile (the Bulawa). So far the Bulawa has proven to be good at killing Russians; but-they're working on it.
It ended as soon as the Soviet Union collapsed. BTW, anyone else find it interesting that speaker Boehner sides with Obama over Romney on this "issue"?
