Most Americans (71%) Oppose Transgender Agenda

We have a majority of Americans who also oppose automatic weapons - but that doesn't change anything. What do you think the anti trans agenda majority will/can do?

 

The noise are made on both side, Right attack the transgender and some on the left promote transgender. Both are equally wrong. Majority American people don’t care about either side because this is a none issue. Less then 1.5% Americans are transgender. There are far more important issues to address then transgender issue. Unfortunately, one of the leading GOP candidate is waging crusade against transgender.

I am with 71% Americans who thinks there are only two genders- man and woman. But I have no problem with people who wants to claim there are 18 different genders. I find it an oxymoron to think there are more then two genders, but who am I to judge them.

Issue most Americans have is that when right wing policies take away some Americans right just because their lifestyle is not the norm or American people don’t want 1.5% people’s lifestyle is shove down to others. Some people on the right wants to crush transgender people and some people on the left wants to promote them. Majority Americans are tired of a small fraction of people on either side making a this issue a big deal.

 

I don't think there is any debate at all about whether they get to force others to pretend...they don't.

As a young child, my son fantasized about being a super hero. He would tie a superman beach towel around his shoulders, and "fly" around the house, fighting imaginary crime. I humor trans people's delusions about their gender similarly to how I humored my child's super hero fantasy. The difference is, such fantasy is normal and healthy for young children. If as a young adult, he still insisted that he really was superman, and that I should address him as such, it would be clearly indicative of a mental problem.

My opinion:

• If you were born with a pecker... you're male.
  
• If you were born with a cooter... you're female.
  
• If you were born with both, or neither... you have a birth defect.
• If you're born one and you think you are the other... you have a mental disorder.

The first two represent "normal". The last two are "not normal" and require treatment to try to give them as normal a life as is possible.
If trans people want to believe they are something they're not, and they want to embrace and cultivate that belief, then good for them. YOU BE YOU! They can play dress up, and indulge their fantasy to their heart's desire, I don't care. But, if they want to FORCE EVERYONE to suspend reality and acknowledge their fantasy as truth, then that's something else entirely.

IF this has ever occurred it must be rather rare, certainly more children are seduced by reality tv stars, operators of casinos, judges of beauty contests, and managers of modeling agencies featuring undocumented eastern europeans?

 

Why only trans, I hope 100% Americans object catholic priest seducing children too. That doesn’t mean we should ban Catholicism altogether.

Heterosexual, homosexual or transexual anyone who seduce children should be in jail. There are laws in America to protect children. Just because some transexual seduce children doesn’t mean Transgender lifestyle should be criminalized in America.

Oh they exist. No one has denied that transgenders exist. There are more than one gender, but scientifically, there are only TWO biological types, males and females, and that's quite different than a gender, someone who identifies as feminine or masculine. Kaitlin Jenner, a transgender female, doesn't believe transgender females should be playing Women's sports. I'm in full agreement. Why? Because you can't change science. Biological males have an unfair advantage over biological females. Biological males need to compete and play sports with biological males only. The end.

I don’t care what people do but they need to do it quietly. I don’t walk around pushing my straightness and whiteness in people’s faces. They don’t have special classes in school or celebration months for straightness and whiteness even though the world would look a lot different if we never existed.

Is there a reason to celebrate t people? No more than anyone else I would think. But it is being pushed on us by the far left and I have no idea why.

As for the people who think they’re in the T category or one of the many newly invented genders, I think it’s all a fad. I believe some people want attention, some people want to be different and some people are just weird. For the last twenty years or so, the fad has been to get tattoos. When I was in my twenties and thirties hardly anyone had tattoos, and if they did they were relatively small. Today….well, I don’t have to tell you, you can see tattoos everywhere and many cover a large amount of body space. Now imagine if teachers were pushing tattoos on school kids, how do you think that would work out? I don’t think it would work out very well.

The T people who switch sides twenty or thirty years ago figured it out on their own. They didn’t need teachers deciding or encouraging them to do so. Today I don’t know why people don’t think kids and adults can figure it by themselves and need to butt into situations that are highly personal and last a lifetime.
