I wanted to continue the MOTORCYCLES thread so if its not talked out we will keep on going on. The OT in asked what bikes would we like to have etc and why. I have rode bikes for about 20 years (!). I love all bikes from Kaws to Harleys. Rice is nice (lol)…. You cant beat the Asian bikes for bang for the buck both aesthetically AND of course performance, but still my favorite are Harleys especially Old iron. Anyway I will post more later, now I am so sleepy I am hitting the wrong keys! ‘

European bikes do it for me. I've owned a couple of Bultacos, I turned a Bultaco Metralla into a very quick café racer. Light weight and handled like a dream. That was in the late 1970s.

Onto a couple of BMWs, R90S and a R65LS (which ended up on the track as a fine track bike). Then a couple of Moto Guzzi Le Mans, a MkIII and a MkV, my favourite all time bike. Owned it for 11 years from new, well fettled and incredibly fast over a long distance. Something about Italian V-twins.

Then a 2002 Triumph Sprint RS 955i in very rare Lucifer Orange paint work. Sold it before I moved over seas in 2007. We'll be moving home in about 4 years. Early retirement and another Guzzi, probably a V7 Racer
