Really? By anyone who is part of the media to the public. Geeze, is it that difficult?
A legitimate question, you know, the kind critical thinkers ask.
So now you've gone and contradicted your first statement.
Then this statement of mine is relevant:
    As pointed out before:
Good grief is right, it's taken you almost 24 hours to formulate all that?

Your sources are a failure because they are not good sources. They present opinions about Covid-19 from people who have consistently posted misinformation and lies. The people offering these opinions have no education related to these topics, therefore one should check the information that comes from experts and from direct research before making any conclusions.

Regarding — Tamny, John. When Politicians Panicked: The New Coronavirus, Expert Opinion, and a Tragic Lapse of Reason (pp. 17-19). Post Hill Press. Kindle Edition.

This nothing other than an opinion piece.

Regarding — Berenson, Alex. Unreported Truths About Covid-19 and Lockdowns: Part 3: Masks (pp. 4-6). Blue Deep, Inc.. Kindle Edition.

Berenson is well-known for covid misinformation. Again, another opinion piece full of misinformation.

Regarding — Dowd, Ed. "Cause Unknown": The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 & 2022 (Children’s Health Defense) (pp. 232-234). Skyhorse. Kindle Edition.

Ed Dowd appears to have no education related to viruses, virology, vaccines, epidemiology, the immune system or anything that would make him an expert in any of these scientific fields. He does work on Wall Street related to equity shares.

Skyhorse publishing is well-known for publishing content from individuals opposing vaccines and conspiracy theorists.

Dowd claims that deaths were caused by vaccines rather than due to the virus despite the fact he does not have sufficient evidence to make such a claim.

There is a really good explanation of why he is full of it the following links:

    https://healthfeedback.org/claimrev...k-death-contrary-claim-financier-edward-dowd/

    https://www.reuters.com/article/fac...y-due-to-covid-vaccine-rollout-idUSL2N2VS1BI/

    https://www.factcheck.org/2023/04/s...linked-to-vaccines-contrary-to-claims-online/

I asked for links to research, not to excerpts from books written by lay people, all who are obviously biased. All of it has been debunked over and over. If you never read any other sources, of course you will cling to misinformation.

As far as your claim that face-masks don’t work, you have been provided with enough real research that says otherwise.

Science in the area of face masks evolved both during the pandemic and continued. A body of scientific evidence that has been built up clearly shows that transmission is made lower with masks. To state that masks are not one of the tools that are effective in diminishing/lessening the spread of covid is a false statement that has been retrieved from sources of misinformation.

Not wearing a face mask while you have covid increases the risk of spreading it to others. By wearing a mask, the risk drops. Masks are mainly intended to protect others from covid, not the wearer, which is why social distancing and hand washing were also very important.

Thank you for leaving this thread and no longer polluting it with misinformation. :applause:

They are excellent source fully footnoted and referenced. Unfortunately your faith based narrative prevents you from educating yourself. Instead of reading and forming your iwn opinions all you do is search the internet for confirmation bias. It’s a shame to witness the refusal of individuals to implement critical thinking and form opinions considering all available information.

Just out of curiosity how many Covid-19 patients have you worked with in an ICU, how many death certificates have you signed, what is your education in science, how many research papers have you authored?

Yeah, it's a waste of time. They have their narrative supported by the internet. Sad actually that some are not interested in testing their narratives. But that's the world we live in now days.

Nothing here. Concerns about the outbreak were expressed before Xi Jinping met Old Joe in San Francisco.

Would that be because some people just can't think critically, you know, think from different angles, that's why connections can't and won't be made?

Too many MAGA types think they don't have to educate themselves--they see the Orange Oaf talking batshit crazy stuff and think that's okay. It isn't.

The trouble is you don't understand when you're flat wrong. Why? Because, I observe, you're more interested in being right than uncovering the truth. You seem motivated to antagonize, provoke a response, and then accuse people appalled by your approach as slanderers. Maybe you could come up with positive thoughts.

Here's something to chew on: why is the average guy opposed to carbon taxes even if government makes them revenue neutral? I wonder if you can explain why the average guy is opposed.

If you have lots of money, I'll venture you won't get it right. if you're average guy, I bet you do.

And being right does uncover the truth, whether you see it or not. WTF has carbon taxes got anything to do with anything about this thread and the argument you present? Oh, that's right, when you haven't got the slightest, you'll change the direction that suits you, because of the current argument is lost by you. Would that be why you're interested in what I care about carbon taxes? Keep on topic sunshine.

I know I am. Because I question everything my government and their lackeys tell me. I don't play Simon Says. Also, I do my own investigations into narratives and do not just accept them for their face value as you would.
