I started a thread titled "Infrastructure costs from Immigration" and put it in under the "Budget and Taxes" section (probably not the best idea looking back on it). But it got derailed by members who wanted to talk about other aspects of immigration besides infrastructure and transportation. So could one of the moderators split the thread, if that is possible? Please put everything beginning with page 3 and after into a new thread in the "immigration" section. Even if you feel that the whole thread should go to the "immigration" section, could you still please split the thread into two? Derailing a members thread seems disrespectful, and makes it more difficult to have a discussion, distracting from the original topic.
Unfortunately, threads do get drift and we allow some. If your was not closed, I can put a notice to the members to "stay on topic". Would that be fair enough? Thanks, Jiyuu Site Moderator
