This is what Democrats have done for the last fifty years run as hard left in the primaries as they have to to win and then run back to the center once they've got the nomination. The problem is they no longer control the media and so a smart Republican and asks who are you lying to the leftists then or the rest of us now? If you were lied once why should we trust anything you say now?
