National Guard Deployed in Baltimore

Baltimore declared protests and clashes between police and protesters an emergency and deployed the National Guard to quell protests. What do you think about this?

I have no problem with it. What is the governor suppose to do, let the rioters burn Baltimore down to the ground?

 

Quell? Really? You mean like was done by authorities in Ferguson...when they acted as silent witnesses to the looting carnage that occurred there?

 

The governor? How about the liberal Dem mayor of Baltimore? I'm sure Gov. Hogan gave her all the rope she needed to delay her request for an 'emergency' and a request for the National Guard. Much too late as the looters have a 'hay day' and businesses are set on fire. Nice. Anarchists run rampant in the streets.

Apologies. My word choice was bad. I did not mean to cast the governor's choice in a bad light. I actually think she let the rioters run freely for too long before calling in the National Guard.

What do you think - Western society adopted with enthusiasm protests in Baltimore? Against the corrupt police? Against police violence? The Western world is very much admired protests in Ukraine. Is not it?

Nah, they destroy their own neighborhoods. Police go where the crime is. No need to crow about other countries when you have your own problems like the Biryulyovo riot. I know US riots are popular in Russia but only because it distracts them from their own problems.

As our Founding Fathers said over two hundred years ago, it is the lack of justice that causes disorder in society. They also said an armed citizenry is the best guarantee against government abuses.


For too long the people of Baltimore have been subjected to government abuses from police. An armed citizenry is the ideal solution to stop that nonsense once and for all - just like in Texas:

Perhaps. Maybe Gray's death was just an excuse a lot of these people were waiting for to loot and riot? I have no doubt that whatever the reason, both Baltimore and Ferguson has caused the divide to widen. Any legitimate beef with the police has been lost on most people in all this violence.

It seems the original reason and perhaps the villain of the cause has been lost. Now the villains are those black looters and rioters are the villains.

 

Please don't interrupt their illusions with facts and logic. They have a race bait agenda they must tend to.
