I had that awesome pix as my screen saver for quite awhile. Also bought it in a store and hung it on my wall........ I'm a sunset lover.. and a moon lover... YES! Ot - I will definitely vote for you!!
I suppose I should write something... The pics in the previous post were all but one taken on the beach where we walk the dog. The first one is of the Tall Ships race this summer. The last one was taken from the garden of my house. These below were taken from the garden except for the last one. I think I posted them here before: This is Dumbarton Rock. If anyone can straighten the tilt, by all means do ... it's just off. The blue colour is natural. I pass the rock every day but it really was a lovely colour and I stopped to take a pic but unfortunately all I had was my mobile phone. If you look closely, you may see the castle. The rock is almost encircled by ancient battlement walls and Mary Queen of Scots was held in the castle for a while:
Oh, that is breathtaking! I LOVE nature! People can have those crowded, noisy Las Vegas and the rest of those noisy, masses of people 'main attractions' - this is what attracts me......
Oh yes, thank you! My state certainly does have it's share of beauty.... mts, wilderness and I'm only about 1.5 hrs from the beautiful Pacific.....
I live about 6 blocks from Point No Point lighthouse. You are right it is beautiful here. I walk my chihuahuas there they love the beach.
I'm in SW WA by the Oregon border.... Mt. St. Helen's isn't far, .... that's one day I'll never forget! Lol....... I fell in love w/this state the first time I was here and a few yrs later moved here - never regretted it. I don't even mind the rain..... Point No Point Lighthouse? Never heard of it..... I'll have to look it up........
