New Years eve: will it be our last time to see an amateur Johnny Football as A+M plays Duke?

New Years day kicks off with ole foul mouth playing the Bulldogs

We then get to see what LSU and South Carolina can do. If Iowa hangs around LSU then Les Miles is going to be on a very hot seat. Anything less than a blow out will be viewed as a loss for LSU

I'm not into the Rose Bowl because Big 10 and PAC 12 don't move me

I am curious to see how UCF fares against Baylor. If they have a good showing ( a loss but close game) it's not going to bode well for Muskrat and his recruiting at UF. With FSU in the championship and UCF making a BCS bowl game, why would any 5 star heading to the state of FL want to be coached by Muskrat?

OK vs the Tide will be interesting and I like Big 12 vs SEC matchups.

Jan 3rd brings us 2 interesting games

Ok State vs "a team out of nowhere Mizzou" I beleive that Mizzou is going to make a game of it and maybe even win.

Clemson vs Ohio State- are either of these teams real or are they both posers? Here is a chance for one of them to make a statement because there was great hope for both teams. I give a leaning to OSU because of their coach.

then we have FSU vs whatever. Does it really matter which team goes against them this year? FSU, the SEC team playing in the ACC. Jimbo put together a complete team

Oregon again showed their one dimension of a running QB.

It's probably a good thing that they did not have to play FSU, Bama or even Auburn.

It did however give a good wake-up call to the Longhorns and exposed all of their weaknesses and showed just how much work must be done before they are ready to compete again at a high level.

I love Bowl season. Congrats to OU and slapping Bama. You could see from facial expressions that OU was fired up and Bama had that pathetic entitled look upon them. Coach Saban touched on it at the post game press conference but you have to give it to OU for wanting it more than Bama.

Nobody but nobody is talking about Mizzou vs OK state and both teams worked to get a good bowl game. I bet it will be a better game than Clemson/Ohio State

The Sooners ability to to pressure McCarron with their front four was a huge factor in this game. It's hard to beat a talented team when you give up 7 sacks and 4 turnovers. Conversely, Alabamas defense looked confused, out of position, and tired at several points in this game. Stoops prepared his team well for this one. I can't say the same for Saban.

As an SEC "mark" I at least admit that we've seen this before from LSU and FL. in bowl games.

There is a sense of superiority at some schools and to be playing in anything less than the championship game is beneath them; or so some of the kids think.

You could see it on the faces of the Tide players last night. OU was ready and had something to prove. Alabama acted as if just showing up was sufficient.

I love Bowl season and so far this year the 2 teams which have impressed me were OU and UCF. Both teams wanted to be there and appeared honored to have the national stage and brought their best games. The teams to get honorable mention so far are the Spartans and South Carolina.

Sparty did well and Spurrier is used to being in the shadows having yet another 11 win season as an SEC team and getting no respect while doing it so his team is used to that and thus plays hard for him.
