The Neo-Progs have been very interesting to watch over the last 4 and a half years of the Obama admin. In many ways, they not only continued the Bush agenda, but increased it with regards to drone warfare over much of the globe, the assassination of US citizens, an attack in Pakistan, keeping Gitmo open, questioning AQ prisoners on ships instead of bringing them directly to US soil, unwavering support for Israel (important for reelection), toppling the gov't of Libya and attempting to do the same in Syria with gunrunning and training a CIA proxy army, and threatening Iran with military strikes. The lack of criticism from the mainstream media and much of the Left's elites only goes to show that the caterwauling that they voiced over George Bush's WOT were purely political. If Obama nuked Iranian bomb making sites tomorrow, the mainstream media would jump on board with both feet in lock step with the Democrat party's leader- Barack Obama. The usual vocal members of the Left's elites would go silent, if they decided not to join the media in signing the praises of an attack on Iran.
One GOOD thing about the Iraq War.... it's turned many of the old Neo-Con Right, out of hatred of Obama, into Isolationists. Naturally, once a Republican is President (or if Charles Krauthammer or Bill Kristol come out for it), they'll contradict posts like this OP and suddenly support saber-rattling at Iran.
The Obama Admin's 'saber' Except the 'screw' is pointed toward us....the Obama Doctrine: retreat, retreat, retreat, fold>>>Nuclear Iran aka, leading from your 'behind'
