Yes there are many people playing stupid and I am guessing you don’t think you’re one of them.

Actually, what is it he states???
    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-10-...el-touts-vision-for-coal-free-economy/6887578
Now while you see something in there that CLEARLY states he is in favour of nuclear energy an fracking, I think you should provide the evidence of such a statement. After all it is YOU who has decided that, Finkel has been quoted talking about the debate of renewables and nuclear and I would be extremely surprised if you could find ANYTHING on Fracking, because clearly by this comment Finkel states NO GAS..

Now I know you are challenged to comprehend what your bigotry blinds you too, BUT this last…
So you are going to stand by
Well remember it is YOUR claim that there is no such thing as “independent” in the Argument.
“…at the end its all politics.” So the IPCC and anybody who sits upon AGW panel are actually just parroting what their overlords want??? Are really saying that the Global warming is a scam and nothing but politics??? After all Independent advice by somebody CHOSEN to play the fiddle??? REALLY ???

Now I know the Greens want brain dead morons to support them BUT truly are you prepared to admit the fallacy you believe in is only because of your own bigoted belief???

Isn’t amazing how bigotry will make people play stupid???

    Garry,
the two of us are getting nowhere, nothing we can do about it, except for accepting it.
We differ too much, so kindi replies won't help you or me. However I accept the same applies for me...
    Cheerio

In all seriousness, I do believe that your attack on this person and his appointment is completely uncalled for. This man is the Green’s wet dream and all you have is attack because of his appointment by the Coalition. I note that the ALP (and I think of Conroy) and the Greens (Hansen-young) find it acceptable to attack anybody, be they employed to act in a position or put to a panel, as fair game. Previously it was unacceptable to such but in the last 5 or six years they have overstepped the mark. If you believe there is corruption, instead of inferring it you should put your case with support, otherwise you just sound like a disgruntled fool as Conroy and Hansen-young.

If you only have the idea to attack somebody who is far more credible than yourself on a topic without evidence, then the desperation and incredulity stands out...

You act like a dickhead, sorry to say.
The guy said he favors fracking and nuc energy.
Enough said, even an idiot understands. So how come you don't get it?
It is fair enough if you don't like the Greens, as I don't like the Fuehrers party, namely Liberals.
Just do us a favor and shut up!!!!
    Regards

Again I ask you to prove such comment. Simply saying it is so does not make is so. When you say he is in "favor" of Fracking one has to wonder how you come to that decision, as he states emphatically, he is against GAS. What do you think fracking produces??? So your comment is actually the most inaccurate comment, not anybody else’s

    So when you say
I think the point is that you have no credibility, so YOUR word means nothing. If you think idiots should understand what you say is fact, then maybe your refection on others is closer to home than you might want to consider. Can I be blunter... You bet. The point is don't YOU get it... YOUR FULL OF CRAP so without evidence, your claims are crap...

Oh desperation is growing isn't it. You believe you can simply make any claim without any substance and it is automatically accepted as fact. Unfortunately, as pointed out previously it is actually the opposite. And your comments here are the epitome of Greens philosophy in that you simply assume everybody has to listen to you because your statements do not need support or even truth…

Geebus, chill. Watching you lefty folk get so fired up at an opposite point of view that you explode and stop posting is fun but counter-productive to the forum. Don't follow DV and others down that path.

Thnk of it like, people are allowed to have an opinion on the political right, because they do not let it influence their duty. So it doesnt really matter what he thinks as Chief Scientist alone, he has a 'team' which work up scientific advice. Maybe your just used to the left of politics were power is abused by the individuals as soon as they get it.... ya know because the whole ALP DNA is riddled with the corrupt union mentality. Well except Abbott of course, but he was a 'special' case bought out only in the face of national KRuddastrophe.
