Do you honestly believe that? I'd imagine the majority, if they didn't fear being brow beaten and called names by the like of you and your lot, would tell you something along the lines of "yeah, I don't like that, get rid of it".

 

Equality eh? How would you like watching a woman trying to compete in the NFL, or perhaps against men in mma? Nobody really wants to see that either.

 

Wow. I almost couldn't tell him apart from the girls. Seriously, this is just more proof I did right when I stopped watching the NFL.

 

I guess you've never seen the Cheerleader championship games? Men play a crucial role using their strength to lift the women up. Including men should add more cheerleading stunts.

You're right about that, but those competitions have lots of gymnastics going on and there's more than just one man on the squad to throw and catch the women. I don't see how a single man who doesn't appear strong enough to assist in such gymnastics compares to what the college type cheerleaders are doing. In fact, I've never seen NFL cheerleaders do back flips or build pyramids, have you?

 

The majority of fans care about their team on the field and whether they win or lose, not if there is a dude cheerleader.

Nope. This is like putting a girl on an NFL team and making her a wide receiver who never has the ball thrown to her.

Why does it have to be a positive or a negative? Why is it even an issue anyway? They hired a dude for their cheer leading team. Big deal. Hell the Packers don't even hire their own cheer leaders. They use the local college's, and yes I'm pretty sure men have been involved with that as well, though I admit it has been a long while since I have been to a game at Lambeau. I just want to watch football as the majority of football fans do. I can't see that many people reacting that much either way over one team's cheer leader hiring practices.

Now if it was a mandated thing by the NFL, then I would take issue with that, but I don't see that being the case.

 

I guess we'll disagree on this point. Time will tell, except as I allude to earlier, people won't likely be honest about it, because 1) they don't want to have to defend themselves from accusations of bigotry/homophobia, etc, and 2) virtue signalling progressive values is all the rage nowadays, it's the safe bet.

This is attacking yet another tradition. Not sure if you've noticed it but women still don't watch much NFL unless its with their significant other so where is the draw to bring in a gay guy to dance on the field with the cheerleaders? Where is the target audience?

Put something out their worth debating. A male cheerleader isn't very important, but if you can't handle it, then don't watch. Real fans care about the action on the field anyway. I'll let you outsiders worry about if a cheerleader has a dick or not.

The NFL like any sport is designed to entertain people. Cheerleading is entertaining. Get over it.

 

It starts with one man. I believe when it becomes more acceptable we'll see more men join the teams.
