Another board I use has a "new replies to your posts" button, and I find that most useful. Can anything similar be implemented here? If this board just had a "your new posts" button, it certainly would be helpful.
One way, and there may be better is to go to your User CP and click on My subscriptions, which will list all you threads and threads on which you have posted
