I guess you cannot understand that when there is massively disparate treatment-that suggests political chicanery

    Regarding Edwards, NOT the same:
There are also differences between the two cases, observers noted, with one of the most notable being the timeline of the payments.
The payments to Edwards' mistress began in 2007 and continued after he suspended his campaign, while Daniels received a one-time payment just before the 2016 election.
"It's really hard to believe that the primary motivation wasn't to prevent it from coming out and affecting the presidential election," Brett Kappel, a campaign finance law specialist, said of the payment to Daniels.
Another key contrast is that the Edwards case played out at the federal level, while Trump is being investigating at the state level.

Edwards was prosecuted. How is that “disparate treatment”?

And by the Feds! The Orange Sore wasn’t prosecuted by them , but by the state of NY.

NY will not get the money at all.... and Trump is neither a rapist, a swindler, nor bordering on pathological...

Your link is just more fake news and propaganda.

Why do you think NY won’t get the money?

Because it's a ridiculous accusation with no merit and no victims. The only thing NY has succeeded at, is making a mockery of the NY judicial system. More than likely also damaging their ability for decades to draw large companies into the state after this.

You think he will win the appeal outright? Bold prediction.

    I didn’t say that.
I think the most likely outcome is that the amount gets reduced on appeal. How much is difficult to say. I expect the judgment will still exceed the amount of the bond.
Second most likely outcome is he loses outright on appeal.
Least likely outcome, by far, is that he wins outright.

Your judicial system and Congressional Record say otherwise.

@Steve N , looks like the court has rejected the bond for now. Trump will have to make some remedies if he wants it to be accepted.
