Another conservative hoax busted. New York Post broke the story about homeless vets being kicked out to make room for migrants. At least they are doing the right thing and acknowledging that it was a hoax.

I don't know that they have much choice but to acknowledge it, after the ruse has been busted; the NY Post doesn't hold the kind of sway over its readership, to keep them at arm's length from other news sources, the way that FOX does. But it really speaks volumes about the "quality" of NY Post stories, that they were so easily taken in, and credulous-- at least about a story that fit that newspaper's pronounced spin-- and that it took CNN, to discover the truth (which it seems was not difficult, with just a little investigating).

Also, this is one crappy "acknowledgement" that this was a hoax. One sentence at the top of your original story that doesn't acknowledge anything.

It's been proven a hoax. Documents were doctored. You don't seem too upset you were led astray.

It was a false story and now we know. Dems do it all the time. However, dems didn't care if vets were being displaced for the benefit of migrants and we all got to see their reactions when the original story came out. Just don't care, migrants first always.

And no, they were not waiting to see if the story was true or not, they showed their true colors and no one was surprised.

 

Well, the person who lied in the first place never said vets were being displaced because of migrants, only that the timing led her to believe it was the case when the story first came out. So if no one exactly knows why they were kicked out, it's best to wait instead of using it as political ammunition, don't you think?
