So you agree then, that the NY Times is an extreme left publication. Gotcha

That would be your biases against Trump shining through. I don’t like him either and will be voting the same way this year as I did in ‘16, Ann Richards, but I just don’t see what others see in him.

This is what happens when the Legacy Media decides it's better to run with a narrative rather than simply report the news. I mean, they're not even TRYING to look factual anymore.

The other problem they're facing is the fact that people can easily parse their product now. We saw that with bloggers vetting Dan Rather's forged papers instead of CBS doing it itself because they wanted to get W and truth be damned. We saw it with Reuters pushing a false narrative against Israel and bloggers catching that as well. Ever since then, you would think that the Legacy Media would realize that people can instantly parse the press but the press itself does not seem to realize this. You'd think that they would have learned this lesson, having dealt with the Credibility Gap reporting on how the Vietnam War and investigating why what the generals were saying didn't match up with what they themselves were seeing. But it looks like the Legacy Media has too much hubris to think it can get caught. The same elitists that check what others say for a living still haven't yet realized that other people are now checking what THEY say on a regular basis and that what happened before were one-offs. They're either unaware of the idea that their own work is being questioned, or unwilling to admit it.

I missed it for the simple reason that the WHO never said that. At least not that explicitly.

They made the comparison with SARS and believe that possibly the warmer weather COULD slow the spread of COVID-19.

We're light years away from Trump's claims.

    NO. I NEVER Said that.

Don't try to put words into my mouth.:smh:

It isn't a good look. Weak sauce. :bored:

    Here's is MY Position:

    1) Breitbart, GP, Etc. are Extreme RW Blogs that Constantly Mischaracterize the Democratic Party in an effort to create "Clickbait BS" for Trump Supporters to spread online.

    2) The NYT is a respected publication that has been around for over 160 Years and has 1 Million Times the Credibility of the Extreme RW Blogs which fuel the RW Fever Swamp.

Hopefully, I have cleared up my position.:salute:

    Wow. :smh:

    Really?

Is that what you really think?

I must interject that I strongly disagree with your characterization.

Btw--As to the OP, I consider the NYT completely within their rights to characterize Trump's Statements in that manner.

    Carry on.:salute:

(From the OP link) Trump said:
...and some idiot lib/prog, so called, "reporter/journalist" Julie Bowman deceptively and idiotically wrote:
When a reader called it on what she ignorantly and deceptively wrote:
    Julie ignorantly and deceptively replied:
But you and your ilk defend her/its "characterization" even though you KNOW it's disingenuous.
    You KNOW...
Bosman, reacting to intense backlash, defended herself by inaccurately claiming that “the second part of the quote repeats the first part, twice.” In fact, the second part of the president’s statement says that the federal government “will be backing you [the states].”

I suppose you and your ilk also believed Adam Schifty's "characterization" of Trumps phone call to the Ukraine president, right?

P.S. What actually is the flavor of the Kool Aid?

I saw my doctor yesterday and he said the same thing, viruses such as this one TEND to die down in hotter weather. Do they know for sure? No, but lots of people think it will.

Yet the left makes it out that Trump came up with this on his own and claimed it WOULD be TOTALLY ERADICATED. THAT is the lie.

Care to address the OP (the NYT falsifying Trump's words in an attempt to turn people against him)?

Governor Cuomo had high praise for Trump and his team yesterday.

Criticism of Trump looks plain silly.

If instead of crying to the President, the governors of NY, Cali, Washington were on top of things, it might not have gotten "this bad". Alas, they too were asleep at the wheel.

Criticism of Trump reflects more on the critic than it does on Trump. Trump has handled this incredibly well ---- and in the face of Dem obstruction and hysteria ---- and anyone complaining is merely highlighting what a hateful blind partisan they are.

The President told the governors to get medical equipment themselves. This is 100 per cent accurate. In a national emergency the federal government told the states to deal with the problem. I don't see where you see a lie there. Yes, Trump said he would back them up, which I am assuming means the federal government will eventually pay for it, but with Trump and words one has to be very careful, as his top adviser says "don't judge trump by what comes out of his mouth".
Did Trump, yes or no, ask the states to get ventilators themselves?*
