New York Times telegraphs the left's intent to use the January 6 anniversary to repress conservative

With tomorrow the anniversary of the January 6, 2021, Capitol incursion, the New York Times is preparing the soil to plant seeds for a crop of hatred and repression of ordinary conservatives.

The title of the unsigned editorial in The New York Times, January 2, is "Every Day Is Jan. 6 Now," but a chilling assertion in the fourth paragraph justifies the inference that The Times means: "Every Day Is Hunt Down Conservatives Day Now." The fourth paragraph of this editorial, which should be a passage in a political thriller, not a bizarre commentary on political reality, opens: "It is regular citizens who threaten election officials and other public servants[.]"

The following paragraph is no less execrable in mindset: "In short, the Republic faces an existential threat from a movement that is openly contemptuous of democracy and has shown that it is willing to use violence to achieve its ends."

Remember, The Times is referring to "regular citizens," not to the violence committed by Antifa and BLM in the cause of societal transformational reform to the Repressive State. We must not forget that those store windows boarded up before the 2020 election were boarded up anticipating leftist violence against a re-elected Donald Trump. The left is the source of most political violence in the country — and now the left's megaphones promote the canard that Middle America must be held down to keep from resorting to violence? Republicans, where are your denunciations of the calumnies from the left?

Convincing evidence that this twisted January 2 editorial is not to be believed appears in the sixth paragraph, which calls the Pelosi "Jan. 6" House select panel "a bipartisan committee." Pelosi's panel is an expedition into political ex parte-ism. All nine members (the authorizing resolution calls for thirteen) are of a single mind on the subject of Donald J. Trump: throw him in jail and toss the key…..

The words and actions of the lamestream news media reveal their clear and obvious liberal bias. The New York Times editorial is a declaration of war by the democrat establishment against ordinary conservatives. The targeting of the organic GOP base will not work.

 

We the people will not be silenced. We will stand up as one and resist the bicoastal secular progressive urban elites and their political party and its media.

Some are wondering if this is just a cover to push back against conservatives and the Right with a low level war, or to justify their paranoia of more "radical" elements on the conservative Right, or any group who might openly espouse the use guns, and thus could threaten them. (Make Pro-Constitution gun owner groups the new "racists" to be reviled by society)

It's like McCarthyism in reverse.

 

Yes, there is of course some irony. But the response has been disproportionate to the specifics of the actual incident.

I wonder if the leaders of the Left actually believe the threat is as real as the news media keeps touting, or whether they all just operate with a collective hive mind, and so actually believe it, believing it because they have a penchant to.

 

I have no clue what you are talking about, but I do believe my own two eyes. Or is all that video from that day suppose to be one huge red flag operation? Is that it?

 

Oh, so you are only basing your opinion on video footage you have seen, and not on pre-digested opinions and interpretations that were fed to you at the same time you were shown that video footage?

You only think you have come to your own conclusion, but you have not. You relied on other people to do your thinking for you.

 

Short of being there, yes. The video footage speaks for itself unless you're inferring that's made up too?

 

What does the video footage say? That there was a belligerent mob of some people who stormed the capitol building who were Trump supporters? Many of whom were obviously wacky and crazy, and it was almost even a light-hearted event at times (not unlike crowd violence at a sports game).

Okay, so what greater inferences do you think you can make from this?

 

That says more about YOU than January 6th.

Again, I've seen this show before. If you can't be original, at least be quiet.

Does anyone remember the particular date that the mainstream media was forced to retract their lie that one of the protesters killed a police officer by hitting him with a fire extinguisher?

They ran with that lie for a good month or two and it was often repeated here

It’s a day to openly enrage and defy them by being openly critical of their stupid committee and it’s biased work. And by pointing out that there was no planned insurrection by anyone from Trump down to anyone connected to him.

 

There are thousands of hours of video footage they won’t let us see that shows how it was indeed a mostly peaceful protest

 

It's almost as though they have entirely forgotten how they tried to steal the election from Trump with the faithless elector ploy that some of them discussed.

Or the Nationwide riots including in DC on Trump's inauguration Day. I don't think anyone let cars on fire in the street on January the 6th in DC
