Considering how Herman Cain, a month ago, was hovering around 5%, and now leads Romney, I can't help but think Newt will start gaining. He is continuing to campaign well and gaining ground along the way. It's time for Huntsman to go. Nobody likes him, he is dead last, and he is simply taking away time from the others. I like Santorum, but if he can't gain any more ground than he has, it may be time for him to bow out.
Just goes to show how morally bankrupt the republican party has become. Both parties are evil, corporate sock puppets!!!
Uh huh, maybe we should all join the socialist protests and call for a violent overthrow of the Government, right?
No thanks, but at least that would be a legitimate if not refreshing change from the routine changing of the guards, voting for the same old same old two party failures over and over, and over, and..., did I say over? Seriously you cannot still believe the republican/neo-con artist party is the conservative option to progressive democrats? Do you?
Don't we have enough liberals pretending to be Jon Stewart on this board? I mean, I know that's where you get your news from, but still..
Anything has to be better than the slow agonizing death grip the two party system has on this country. Newt is just another part of the problem that started 40 years ago. The idiocy to continue to support a failing situation which is the two party system and the best government corporate money can buy is very telling of the ignorance of the average voter these days. Once again there are only two things wrong with this once great nation today, they are in no particular order, democrats and republicans. Read it, learn it, know it!!!
Look man.. we're not a proportional democracy. Fringe Parties can only survive and prosper in proportional democracies. We don't have that and it would take a Constitutional Convention to change it. No one wants to vote for the Libertarians and/or Greens.
Look man, the people do not need a constitutional amendment to stop voting for a perpetual condition that is the two party system, their best interest as a nation as a whole. The fact you seem to ignore reality at such a devastating level only reinforces my suspicions of how manipulated the average voter really is. Wake up!!
Dont take the polls as an indicator of who will win.Newt's campaign funds are not that great, and in 2008 at this time ,Giuliani was the front runner, followed by Fred Thompson,Mitt Romney, and John McCain.Being the front runner in these polls hardly means they are going to win. Still way to early to call. Dont believe the polls and the pundits.
There is a difference..every 4 weeks we have another stupid debate..and idiots with no business running for president get superior coverage at the expense of the Republican party. Any one of 480,000 republicans can debate and look good for a moment..and utter magical #s and theory's without ever getting called to show any factual support or success any where on the planet. Many have compelling life stories.. and never have led a crises other than who will pick up the kids after soccer practice. The fact there are still 9 people out there..several I wouldn't hire to coach my kids football team much less the country speaks lots about the so called educated voter. And the so called evil media ..loves it.. The more the better for them..and who benefits the most sheep? Obama... Maybe Huntsman will be rewarded with another Obama position..along with Newt and Sany..Cain and Paul..good grief.. Why not elect the neighbor kid down the block..? I am sure he is qualified and clean...just like Obama was. Hire another Company CEO..he says he's honest..and he must always be right because we want to believe so... Paul will just vote and support someone else..so get rid of him on that alone. THIS is the Republican nomination after all. That leaves Perry ..Romney and Bachmann. 2 governors v.another congress person.. but she was elected...Cain has not.. but 9.9.9 will save the world.. simple solutions for simple minds.. just like Obama was.( give the people what they wanted ..)
I think the GOP needs to narrow the field. All this in-fighting is only hurting them and helping Obama. I think Newt did really well in the debates but I doubt he'd pass vetting. Say what you want, it's down to Perry and Romney - which means I have at least a 50% chance of being able to vote against Obama. That would be nice...
What's even worse is that the same media that claims this is good for democracy isn't asking democrats to vet their guy with any debates.. This is giving The Obama team a un fair advantage on style,,substance and arguments to form trial balloon test positions months before the real deal. The media NEVER came close to vetting Hillary or Obama like what even Palin faced..and she didn't even enter this time. Just what is Obama's school record ? His many business dealings before and after he was elected ? I bought my 1st house before I was 24 and still single..without Chicago help. Maybe more debates on his 14 trillion.. 14 trillion..14 trillion plan will be done ?
I'm sure those who voted against him feel that way but it's not acurate. Ayers, Wright, Birthers, Inexperience, Chicago, Voting Record, Muslim, Martian whatever.... They had a field day. And I voted for him anyway because after the catastrophe called Bush, friggin Charles Manson would look good. Well darn. First of my pres votes I feel was really badly cast. So if the GOP doesn't put Whackmann, Paul or Eskimo Barbie on the ticket, and can narrow the field and quit cannibalizing itself, I think they have a very good chance to win in 2012.
Viva Las Vegas.. Another chance for Perry.. Paul gets more face time .. Maybe if we had 800 more. Palin would win 1 or 2 and take a commanding 24 pt lead.
Good lord, if a campaign slogan with absolutely zero chance of passing a vote in congress or eliminating the old tax code is our saving grace, we are doomed! Right up there with chicken in every pot, car in every garage, and making everybody a home owner, just shallow promises to steal a vote from the mentally challenged and the gullible.
After last night, I went from disliking a couple of them, to disliking a lot of them. What a bunch of petty bickering morons. Ron Paul did best by far. Too bad he's unelectable...
