Abuja — The Nigerian military has continued in its clearance operations of remnants of Boko Haram in the North-east with a successful ambush of the terrorists in some parts of Borno State in the early hours of wednesday.

The Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, in a statement said: "The troops of 212 Tank Battalion, 29 Task Force Brigade, early this morning (yesterday) laid an ambush on some Boko Haram members at a major cattle market in Gwai Mainari around Mainok general area."

The military is now doing something substantial about the Boko Haram. The question I have is can they complete this endeavor (complete eradication)? This is the same group of people who managed to get their hands on military - grade weapons and kidnap a whole bunch of girls, and stave off any meaningful justice this whole time.
