GOP Presidential candidate Nikki Haley, in response to a question earlier this week, said she would pardon Donald Trump.

She has no clarified that a little saying she would only pardon him if he is found guilty

“I think you only do it if someone’s found guilty. So, you know, what I’ll say is this is about moving the country forward, and the last thing we want to see is an 80-year-old former president sitting in jail,” she told the network when asked if she would pledge to pardon Trump preemptively or only if he was found guilty.

Well, first of all...seeing Trump in jail is the EXACTLY what I want to see. She shouldn't try speaking for all of us.

Secondly the charges he faces are serious. If she pardons him AFTER he's found guilty it will just be proving that the GOP has no respect for the rule of law.

    1) Haley has ZERO Chance of becoming President in the 2024 Election Cycle...
    2) Thus, whatever she would do in terms of pardoning Trump is fantastically hypothetical...

Nikki also said if she's elected President, she will move the Washington Monument and the Kansas City Chiefs to South Carolina. and launch our 1st manned mission to Saturn

    All on day 1

I agree that it would contribute to the appearance of the partisanship of tRumpublican's. On the other hand, as with Nixon, tRiator tRump is an "issue" we need to move beyond. Putting him in jail would make him a martyr as much as an assassination.

Myself, I look forward to a day when I can reply when asked; "you despise tRaitor tRump don't you?" ... IF I thought about him I would.

Pardons ARE part of the law.

The only possible way I vote in this election is if Nikki Haley is on the ballot. I will vote for whomever she is running against (unless she is running against Gavin Newsome in which case I case I will not vote). I despise her more than any other current politician (Gavin being second). I am glad that you despise her as much as me. There is no room in this world for neocons, their time is over.

What if Trump is found guilty and isn't sentenced to prison?
What if Trump ends up with plea deals?
    What then?
Quite presumptuous of Nikki's "we" " the last thing we want to see is an 80-year-old former president sitting in jail".
