Well, why not post them now?

Prove your point with actual statistics

Yeah! thought that might be a response

So your contention that there is a difference remains unproven

    got it!!

Prove what with stats? That most dead girls found in the woods are murder victims?

Use stats to show that anti gun people just print the raw numbers of death by gunshot regardless of whether it is justifiable homicide ( a positive social good)
    murder (social negative)?

Statistics have their uses and applications. You are perceived as thinking they apply in areas where they do not.

Sorry but you ended up between me and someone who on multiple occasions as demanded a level of academic proof from me but consistently fails to deliver it when they themselves put forth a hypothesis

In this case "That there is a difference between UK murder statistics and USA murder statistics as the UK does not count a dead body as murder unless there is a conviction"

This is the hypothesis that requires proof

What that has to do with bodies found in woods I have yet to determine

As usual, you are what in the grant writing business would be deemed "unresponsive".

I think this has already been demanded of me - that if I make a statement relating to a contention/hypothesis then I back those with statistics - surely the same level of expectation should be applicable to all

Or in other words your contention that the murder statistics are different in the UK "because they do not count dead bodies unless there has been a conviction" is still unproven

A browning gun and an Axe - you forgot those as well

Meanwhile Martin Bryant killed 35 people and injured 21 others with a gun

Here is a list of rampage killers

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rampage_killers

How many were with guns and how many were with other weapons?

While you are at it - how many of those listed were shot/apprehended by civilians? How many were shot/apprehended by police?

Liberals don't believe in personal responsibility. That fact is evident in all the policies they support.
Rather than lay the blame for a shooting where it belongs - on the criminal - they seek to shift the blame somewhere else.
Liberals don't believe citizens should be given the responsibility to make the right decisions, so they seek to take away the individuals very ability to make the wrong decisions. The problem with this is that someone still has to be entrusted with the responsibility to make the right decisions - and that "someone" is the government, which doesn't have a particularly good record of making the best decisions for us. If you want to surrender your personal choice and security into the hands of the government, go ahead and vote for progressives.

The fact is that, contrary to what progressives seem to think, a utopia can't be created by just appointing some people to make all the personal life decisions for everyone else.
