People, who still believe in "peaceful two State solution" must also believe in the vegetarian wolves.
Are you old enough to remember what the West Bank and East Jerusalem was like before Israel attacked Egypt in 1967? Are you an American? Do you remember the USS Liberty?
Why don't you Debate him Margot2... why the ~~~ DEFLECTION ~~~ to another subject... I presume you cannot stop it because this is deeply ingrained in you... What has "Jerusalem Look like" and "the USS Liberty" has to do with retorting to his post. If you cannot retort civilly please go to another subject of your choice i.e. Saudi Arabia for instance where you lived for decades. Leave that thread alone it is not for you and the level of your knowledge sooooooooo bow out and do everyone a favor, stop the blurting deflections.
I note you do not answer her question. What the West Bank and East Jerusalem looked like prior to Israeli occupation compared to the way they look now is relevant to the question. It is not a deflection. What you are doing in this passage is.
I remember well since I was lucky enough to visit three times for two weeks each time with my Sunday school class.
What question pray tell? There is a<THREAD WITH A TITLE,> and according to the rules <YOU STICK TO THE THREAD REQUIREMENT> and you do not try to hijack or deflect from the thread subject to another direction!
You men comparing Israelis to Nazis? One would think that a group of people who suffered so much under Hitler would not abuse the indigenous people of Palestine or rave on about "patrimony".
The indigenous people of Palestine were not ONLY Arabs for the real Indigenous people of Palestine are the Jews of today who absorbed Cana'an and became the INDIGENOUS PEOPLE of CANA'AN that turned to be 'Palestinae' during the Hadrian period. You indulge in fractioned info and this confirms the slogan <a little knowledge is one of the most dangerous thing in life>!
Debate what? the OP did not write the article. He has no point of contention other than to post the convoluted reasoning of the article.
It was called Palestine in 500 BC... and the Jewish people were NEVER the sole occupants. It was a petty kingdom.. a small city state (briefly) .. a whistle stop on the trade route. My experience of Jewish people is that they value education.. Why do you reject it?
