Civilian gun owners have more guns than all the armies of the world combined and one of the reason we have them is to oppose such a tyrannical action by the government. And, ironically, you will have to attempt that with with gun...good luck.

It has already been demonstrated in the state of Georgia that proposals to reclassify legal firearms as contraband, and confiscate them are being made. That is more than enough evidence to show that the claims to the contrary are false.

~123 million households in the US.
~40% of them - 49 million or so - have guns, the HUGE majority of which are unregistered..

Anyhow, do you honestly believe that imposing more restrictions on law abiding gun owners will make an impact on the amount of criminals buying guns out of a trunk? How is making it harder for 2 duck hunters to trade shotguns going to curb crime?

 

Obama on many occasions has used the UK and Austria as a model of "sensible gun control". so guess what wise guy both the UK and Austria confiscated guns.

Technically, it wasn't confiscation.
The government told gun owners they had to sell certain guns to the government for $(x) or go to jail (at which point the gun would be confiscated).
THAT is what The Obama and Hillary want to do.

That is essentially the same as saying that rape cannot be considered rape if the perpetrator treated the victim to dinner beforehand.
