Actually the Norse had contact with the Roman Empire before the time of Christ, and early Christians traveled all over Rome to preach. So, they would have met Norse.

I am saying that bashing gays would still exist without religion, and not just in a few exceptions......In a big way.......You do not need religion to hate and fear, and hatred and fear is the central reasoning behind bashing gays or any other form of bignotry.
