These states are getting federal money back doored to them for the states to use to put migrants on the social payroll.
As if we don't have enough American out of the workforce.
Just like a shortage of chicken raises chicken prices, a shortage of labor raises labor wages as well as forces employers to train new hires. This is good. An excess of labor means low and stagnant wages, and an exploitable workforce. As a former employer, when you are in a jam, the sorta legal/illegal will work for cash.
The illegal immigrants are taking jobs our poor should be doing, but it is so much easier to hire a desperate starving illegal who promises to drop an anchor baby, and be the first link in chain migration than a fat American punk eating Cheeto's in the job interview.

If we don't want out country, why don't we just sell it to someone who does and dissolve the country. Opps. A real country has borders. We are not a country we are a norther territory of anyone who drags themselves in there and say "Her I am. Fix me up." (If we could find a country who wants us. They only want our wallets.)
