Well, as a young man, all the other women that I was, uh, familiar with shaved their legs and underarms. No matter... it's like 'sprinkles on ice cream'....

What other economy do they have? China is completely dependent on Western EVERYTHING. They can manufacture little above all the low end stuff you find on Amazon and at Mal-wart [and that's going away].

Although their accomplishments have been significant, you cannot become a superpower overnight. In every category [except Chinese food :], they are woefully behind. Their military is a joke, their own technology is generations behind, they can't grow anywhere enough food for their population, on and on and on... .

Their present predicament should be enough to bring down the CCP before too long. Their economy is toast because their markets are going to disappear and their labor costs are too high [plus nobody wants to do business with them anymore anyway, and, as well, the US is re-tooling within its boarders and in Northern Mexico].

This is why Xi did what he did. He saw the writing on the wall and knows the sh*t is about to hit the fan BIG time!

Although the BRICS might help, don't count on it. WIthout Western tech, they'll never be able to complete.

Well they are raping Africa as we speak.... billions of dollars of African natural resources all going to Chinese billionaires. If you think matters will improve when the Chinese establish hegemony (which they may in our lifetime), I would have to disagree. There are NO Chinese suffering from white guilt, no care for any group other than the Han Chinese and absolutely no problem genociding any group that challenges HAN hegemony.

One that is backed by gold/silver and or other precious metals. What is the US dollar backed by? Debt and war. At this stage, apart from BRICS the nations of the world run fiat currency economies. With Saudi Arabia ditching the US petrodollar for the Chinese Yuan, it makes it difficult to believe that the Chinese are going bust.

The Chinese are not reliant on the west. Xi and Putin have a bromance.
The US is 5th on the list of who they import from, this indicates they are not solely reliant on them.
    https://tradingeconomics.com/china/imports

Also adding that the US is in debt with China. The US owes the US big time yet the US sends money and arms to Ukraine, the bottomless pit that it is.

You might want to update your sources for China's military tech.

No problem. I know that you don't have any valid arguments and you know that you have no valid argument, but for sure there are some people for whom "I'm sorry, idont speak yiddish" sounds like very intelligent response.

Babble, Rosetta Stone, and others are all pretty good. But the key is practice. When I left my hometown, I was pretty good at Spanish because I had to use it almost daily, especially if I went downtown and had to ask for directions. No Google maps were invented then. But since I don't use it, I lose it. I know a few phrases in Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, but I have to practice at least a month before I went to those countries to get proficient at it.

I would beg to differ here.

The five great "Chinese inventions" that we use everyday:
    1. paper making. Paper and papyrus are completely different.
    2. gunpowder
    3. compass
    4. Moveable print
    5. mechanical clock.

Today, they can write in code in Chinese, not in English, and be almost hacker-proof unless they know Chinese extremely well. But they treat education as almost a religion with parents going to extremely great lengths to get their child education, even if it is abroad.

China has the largest education system in the world. It's compulsory 9 years of primary and secondary education with a national entrance examination with investments into education account for 4% of GDP. In contrast, the United States' investment in education was 6.4% in 2020. In prior years, it was 3.8% But our problem is with instructional material and making teachers walk on eggshells when teaching. You don't have that in China.

Are you calculating the investment in education in the U.S. at the state and local levels as well as federal?

LOL, and you will still not know some words because he or she will not tell you.

No matter what you use, it has to do with practice, practice, practice with everyday use.

All levels. It is mostly local and state, but some federal in terms of grants.

None of that cures their dependence on trade to survive and their easily blocaded single coast.

But I was not talking about Trade, just arguing that China is more advanced than Zorro thinks.

their sea trade cannot be blockcaded as easily as you think. You have the seaport of Shanghai, Tinjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and a whole bunch of others. If you block those ports, even our allies and friendly neighbors will be mad at us and that is not good.

Yes .. complete unbridaled nonsense.... who is going to be declaring war on China .. instituting a navel blockade ??

Have we not been watching the Ukraine war at all ? .. Observation 1) Carrier/navel fleets are obsolete .. cant go anywhere near land .. must remain at least 1000 miles out in the case of China ... and even these will be in danger ..

and at the end of the day .. something that threatens China as something like that would .. should China fail through conventional means .. the nukes will fly.
