NRA to run $2 million Benghazi-themed ad campaign for Trump

    More at the link.

As a habit, I try and picture certain scenarios happening on all sides before forming an opinion, and I'm picturing an organization running a 9/11 themed ad for John Kerry that says "Well, I know some people who won't be voting this year" in an effort to place full blame on former President Bush. After some thought, it'd be equally disgusting to exploit lost lives in this fashion. The NRA should (by habit now, I'm sure) be ashamed of themselves, and Mark Geist... I have no words.

The NRA should make anti-Hillary ads about her wanting to take away guns, not about an unrelated issue.

His opinion has "evolved". Much like Obama's on gay marriage.

You are right, you have no words. Because you never walked an inch in a battle tested soldiers boots.

Always loved this one. How many terms have you served as President? None, you say? Puzzling... you have plenty to say about Mr. Obama's performance, actions, decisions, theories, etc..

    Walk an inch first, no?

Translation: At this point, what difference does it make!

In other words performance doesn't matter as long as a political hack can get in the office.

Weird response. Isn't that the fuel that runs Trump's candidacy? How many people can articulate their Trump vote without mentioning Secretary Clinton?

Sorry to offend you by bringing up your hero's appalling record. I hear safe spaces are available on a campus near you.

No, but I can see true leadership from a mile a way. He has none.

He didn't earn the right to state his opinion?
Or do you just not want it heard?

No one has ever earned the right to use veteran deaths to foster a candidates political gain. No one. Those heroes paid their debt... they are not pawns for political strategy.

You should be ashamed for questioning a man that put his life on the line. You clearly never have. My bet is you wouldn't.

So we should not politicize Orlando victims and call for gun control before their bodies are even in the ground either. You know, to foster a candidates political gain.

Really, I think it's a fine line. We can't hide what happens and who is responsible. Telling the truth isn't necessarily using them as pawns. Unless, of course, it goes against your candidate. Or you don't like the NRA.

San Bernadino & Orlando, yes. Newtown? A little tough... it's their parents.

See above. If you took issue with that, this is no different.

You can tell the truth without suggesting people aren't around to cast their votes for a particular candidates gain. Members of our Armed Services volunteer, and don't deserve to have their sacrifice cheapened this way.

I agree, their deaths should not be cheapened.
We just may disagree on what that is. Like I said, it can be a fine line.
