    What a disgrace.

They had this murderous pos, and now they just let him go.

Another failure of the American injustice system.

Well, he is down the road from me, roughly an hour drive with no traffic and learning to deal with summer heat.

You really have to read the two posts I quoted to have my comment in context. All your outrage should be channeled elsewhere. I don't care what OJ does anymore. He is a pathetic fool and a perfect symbol for why Liberals are so messed up.

Agreed. If you don't agree, do some reading. Pretty much every article I've read about this has mentioned how harshly OJ was sentenced.

    This didn't happen.

    Agreed.

All of this is true, but that doesn't change the fact that he was heavily over sentenced for the crime committed.

Some places call it kidnapping, others call it false imprisonment. It's the same crime in all of the relevant points though.

They had him for robbery, not murder.

OJ is a dyed in the wool Republican. I don't care about him either. I was simply pointing out that the lying cops are the reason he beat the murder raps, then your boys at Fox News hired the lying sack of crap Fuhrman, as their legal expert. I guess there were no retired cops out there that hadn't been fired and disgraced for lying on the stand. I am a lifelong UCLA Bruin fan and can not stand USC or OJ Simpson.

He didn't get off scott free. The guy who pulled the gun, did a time in jail for it.

I didn't think there wasn't enough to justify a guilty charge - even though I do believe he did it.

If you are being held against your will by force, it doesn't matter where it happens, it is still either kidnapping or false imprisonment.

the bank robberies I remember do not charge people with kidnapping

I think most people would agree kidnapping is something else, not that

The American justice system is all we got.

And, it's, "In Order To Form A MORE perfect Union", not a perfect one.

The law is fascinating, isn't it...........OJ gets parole after serving time for a crime he committed years ago yet others want to keep him prison for a crime he was never found guilty of - at least in criminal court. I know it sucks for many but, the law is the law........

Those idiots believe (ignorantly) that the "trial by media" or the consensus of the population at large is good enough to convict someone.

    If he wants to, sure.

If he doesn't, so be it.

True, but most people are interested in justice and that's justice for what he did.

The same thing if when he walked out of the courtroom for the first time after being acquitted he was struck by lightning and killed. That would have been justice. No justice, no peace.

But he said he would do it. It would make a great reality TV show.

Understood but I was just imagining a reality TV show of him looking for the 'real' murderer...you know like 'Finding Bigfoot' and 'Mountain Monsters' where they thrash the bushes and always seem to 'just miss' capturing the varmits.
