Didn't the last Free Syrian army turn into ISIS? I guess this is a new group huh?.

By the way how are you doing, and please let us know what's really going on? What do you think Washington's plans are with this new bombing fiasco? :wall:

I don't understand the language but they do seem to be saying Osama bin Laden a lot.

No actually it did not but why let reality get in the way.

Here's another suggestion. If you want to find out what is happening, relying on the broadcasts from Toyko Rose is not such a good idea...but then I would expect your reality to be directly determined by parroting Syrian Girl.

I am thinking by the way of changing my handle to Jewish Boy. :icon_clueless:

Yep, this is a plan that could be contrived only in - Tel Aviv. The same people who brought you Hamas.

So you want me to accept what the corporate news services say when they parrot Obama? :roflol: Now here's something by Craig Roberts who happens to reflects my sentiments exactly:

Obama’s September 24 speech at the UN is the most absurd thing I have heard in my entire life. It is absolutely amazing that the president of the United States would stand before the entire world and tell what everyone knows are blatant lies while simultaneously demonstrating Washington’s double standards and belief that Washington alone, because the US is exceptional and indispensable, has the right to violate all law.

And here's something from Robert Parry of Consortiumnews who also reflects my sentiments about Obama's speech at the UN.:

The longer President Obama has been in office the less honest he has become, a problem growing more apparent in his second term as he reads speeches containing information that he knows to be false or at least highly misleading.

I don't have a problem with bombing ISIS or whatever the Jihadi's are going by these days, whether it's in Syria or anywhere else. What I don't get is what that has to do with arming Syrian rebels, which Congress passed this week. Syrian rebels at best have nothing to do with getting Jihadi's and at worst, are Jihadi's. Nobody in the opposition or the media even bothered to make a connection between bombing and training Syrian rebels.

It's the old 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend,' thing-a-mabob, which usually turns out to be a crock of crud when all is said and done. How did ISIL form in the first place? From what I have been able to determine they WERE the Syrian rebel -- Obama's good terrorists as opposed to bad terrorist -- groups who then looked around and said, "Blow this for a lark dudes. Let's skip on over to Iraq, which has a totally paper tiger army and take their land and all that other U.S. military arms and weapons systems that they don't have the will power to use anyway!" So our solution is to . . . do more of the same?

Also IF Obama and company were secretly arming various Syrian rebel groups . . . wasn't that illegal without Congressional approval?

Don't you know they are the new Free Syrian Army, which probably consists of everyone other than Syrians. The last ones we trained and armed turned into ISIS. I read that a deal was made with Saudi Arabia that after they destroy ISIS they are going after Assad. It might be true or it might not be true, but what right does Obama have in bombing Syria without the permission of the elected President? It's not as if Assad wasn't willing to coordinate everything with Washington...but no, we can't upset Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Israel. :wall:

What is most amazing is that while the U.S. was bombing a sovereign nation, Obama was accusing Russia of invading when he knew it was a lie, and everyone at the UN knew it was a lie. :disbelief:

Airstrikes against ISIS are useless. Since they began in Iraq, the Iraqi Army has not advanced and taken over any ISIS areas.

Airstrikes in Syria will also prove to be useless. The rural Sunni population supports these jihadists. There has been 30 protests in rebel areas denouncing anti-ISIS strikes. They all sang songs praising jihadis and Jabhat al-Nusra. They all love Nusra. That is why I have sympathy

Guess where there haven't been any protests?! In pro-Assad areas. We are just sitting back, smiling and watching those terrorists fight each other and get bombed by coalition. As long as coalition does not touch the Syrian Army, we do not oppose intervention.

Here are some videos of the protests in the rebel areas praising ISiS, Al Nusra and other Jihadis!

I want these idiots to suffer and make them pay! To me, they have betrayed Syria and everything we stand for. I would not shed a tear if Syrian Army rains barrel bombs, missiles, scuds, or anything else. Those who sympathize with jihadis have to be eliminated at any cost! There is no hope for them anymore. Their sick twisted jihadis cannot contribute anything useful to Syria or the world.

Syrian Girl, Robert Parry the investigative reporter who helped break the Iran/Contra scandal, has an article titled: Eyes Finally Open To Syrian Realities that might be of interest to you. Here is an excerpt from it:

"...But the neocons are not through with the Syrian fiasco that they helped create. They are now busy reshaping the narrative – accusing Obama of waiting too long to arm the Syrian rebels and insisting that he switch from bombing Islamic State targets inside Syria to destroying the Syrian air force and creating a no-fly zone so the rebels can march on Damascus.

The recklessness of that strategy should now be obvious. Indeed, if Obama had succumbed to the interventionist demands in summer 2013 and devastated Assad’s military, we could now be seeing either al-Qaeda or the Islamic State in control of Damascus. [See Consortiumnews.com’s “Neocons’ Noses into the Syrian Tent.”]

Obama might be wiser to take this opportunity to declassify the U.S. intelligence on the Sarin gas attack of Aug. 21, 2013, including the dissents from CIA analysts who doubted Assad’s responsibility. That information might shed substantial new light on how Turkish and Arab intelligence services — with the help of the neocons — enabled the rise of the Islamic State..."
