Possible Obama abuse of government power against the opposition: 1)IRS scandal. Although, even if it's true, it's smart profiling. Since when don't conservatives support profiling? Definite abuse of govt. power against the opposition by Bush and friends: 1) Planned Parenthood 2) ACORN 3) Voter ID and purges 4) Dems targeted for prosecution 5) Attorney firing scandal. 6) IRS audit of Greenpeace and NAACP 7) IRS political data collection Targeting of Civil Rights and Anti-war groups 9) Spying on anti-war groups. 10) Targeting journalists. Bonus) Maher threatened. Bonus bonus) Moveon threatened. XXX http://www.huffingtonpost.com/bob-cesca/10-examples-of-bush-and-t_b_3288007.html end
wtf? Really? If (I haven't seen anything conclusive) Obama had the IRS target over 200 conservative groups (not 1, over 200), how - the f*** - are you going to compare that to Bush, citing an individual who uncovered ACORN abuse and corruption? Oh, and those events you're citing are 1. Unsubstantiated by your case, and 2. not comparable. You're setting the standards for connections really, really low.
mod edit>>>off topic There is no reason to believe that Obama did anything wrong. And a tax-collection agency targeting tax-protesters is just smart. It's also honest! All conservative scandals have been fraudulent and dishonest. And all conservatives lined-up behind the obviously crooked O'Keefe. GOP voter purges affected thousands, if not millions. Same for many of my other examples. .mod edit>>>insult
OK, so when the IRS goes after liberal groups that commit crimes that's EXACTLY the same as when the IRS goes after conservative groups that have NOT committed crimes.
Simple. If Obama knew he needs to go to prison. Everyone involved needs to go to prison and if this were a fair world he would spend the rest of his life there and it has nothing to do with pigment.
Truth Team Tactic #1 Whenever Obama screws up, blame Bush. Thanks for staying predictable, Democrat Party cheerleader tools.
Jeff9k I got to see some of that wisdom of yours in a quotes post. Targeting tax groups should be ok? What about groups that want to restore felons rights? Should we be able to go in their homes and see who they talk to and search them? Or if rights don't matter can we go door to door in Chicago and search homes? That is where the crime is. I am shocked by how ignorant the left here is about this thing. You are all sell outs to your party.
What O'keefe did was investigative jornalism. That isn't illegal nice try though. Sixty minutes 20-20 and a host of other shows have been doing the same thing for years. Tell me one group that can legally vote in the first place that is being disenfranchised by requiring voter ID. You need an ID to get food stamps for pete's sake. And no one thought Nixon was involved in Watergate when that first broke...
