It's great to see these two work together despite their political differences. When a disaster strikes, we still have to work together to mend it.

Both Governor Christie and President Obama have done a fantastic job in leading relief efforts so quickly.

Absolutely right. I didn't vote for Christie but he has done a really good job with this emergency. His acknowledgement of the President was a really class act. Maybe I'll dislike him a little less.

This is nothing but a photo op for Obama's campaign. His campaigning hasn't helped him in the polls, so he hopes that this will.

    Interesting...

I seem to recall people making assumptions about Romney collecting supplies for the victims of Sandy in another thread...

There were a lot of complaints about that...

I expect I'll see the same about this comment...

So you're critical of the President's handling of the storm? In what ways?

Do you also think Romney's little fundraiser was nothing but a photo op?

Both Romney and Obama were required by the unwritten law of politics to cease their campaigning and put in appearance at the disaster site.

Now that this is done, we can move on.

Yep, it's fine with me too. There will be plenty of time for bickering and attacking later.
