I have noticed that racists get really, really defensive when their overt racism is called out.

Why is that?

Once again- the only President you have ever asked, questioned or demanded your laundry list of slimy speculation is the only one not a whiter shade of pale. You can't defend that so you attack me personally instead.

I haven't been defending President Obama the man, or his politics- because you haven't been talking about those- you have just been promoting the usual Birther lies.

I haven't seen any logical Birthers, just those who are promoting bizarre theories intended to destroy the U.S. Constitution.

The difference between you and I, Scott- one of many, but the one most important for this issue is this:

I have consistantly held all President's to the same standards when it comes to proving their eligibility, or any other laundry list of Birther 'demands'.

You have only ever asked, demanded, or cared, about any of this for one President.

The only non-white President.

You had your chance to push just as hard for this information when Romney was running- but

NO BIRTHER EVER ASKED ROMNEY FOR THE INFORMATION THAT THEY DEMAND THAT EVERY PRESIDENT IS OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE.

Not all Birthers are racists- but all Birthers are only and have only ever been concerned about the non-white President.

1. Where is Obama’s real birth certificate? Obama’s supporters will tell everyone who will listen that Barack Obama produced his real birth certificate in 2011. A single reporter – Savannah Guthrie of NBC news — was allowed to see the “real” document, and then it was scanned as a PDF file and loaded into the internet for everyone to see. As far as the Obama crowd is concerned, that’s the end of the story.

The only problem for Obama is that numerous electronic document experts have shown, using steps that anyone can repeat with if they have the proper software, that the document the White House so proudly uploaded is not simply a scanned version of an original paper document. Instead, it’s what’s called a “layered” document. A document that’s scanned will have only one layer, which is the image itself. A “layered,” electronically manipulated document will show one electronic addition after another. The White House’s birth certificate PDF has nine layers. This was an assembled electronic document, not a scanned paper document.

The fact that Obama produced an electronic document that did not start life as a paper printed up in the Hawaii records department does not prove that Obama is foreign born. The problem for him is that it also doesn’t prove that he was Hawaiian born. All it indicates is that Obama is hiding something. He could be hiding the fact that he was illegitimate, but that’s not much of a stigma today. He also could be hiding the fact that he was adopted, which would explain the missing original birth certificate, or that Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was not his real father.

Both of those are facts worth hiding, because Obama sprang to national prominence by purportedly writing a book, Dreams From My Father which ties his identity very closely to Obama, Sr. If Obama, Sr. is not Obama, Jr.’s father, and Obama, Jr. has always known this fact, it puts the lie to the image he sold to the American public as the son of a complex and brilliant immigrant Kenyan.
