Didn't they already do this? Now they are going back to attacking Romney's tax returns??Maybe they should stick with the Big Bird attacks.

Earlier today, I conjectured that the Obama campaign may be out of attack lines to use against Mitt Romney. After Obama's disastrous debate on October 3rd, it was remarkable that his campaign didn't try to launch any new attacks or create any new diversions to change the media narrative. I wondered that, perhaps, he was out of bullets. Turns out I was right.

Politico is reporting that the Obama campaign is going to go back to the issue of Mitt Romney's tax returns. They have unveiled a new 30-second ad on Mitt's taxes to run in several swing states.

Um, Obama campaign, you did this once before. For a time, you had the full megaphone of the corrupt media amplifying your attack. 100s of millions of dollars, both in paid advertising and in-kind contributions from the press pushed this line. And yet, Mitt is winning just about every national and most state-level polls. Is another 30-second ad really going to change things?

The vaunted Obama machine has come apart. They are falling in the polls, yet are going back to a line of argument first used in August. It shouldn't be a surprise, really. His only arguments for a second term are to keep doing the things that failed in the first.

Obama has lost the narrative. He is on defense. You don't win the presidency on defense.

Americans really don't care at all about Romney's tax returns which they've already shown. They care about the economy and jobs and would probably vote for Satan himself if he could deliver them.

When I see an ad about Romney's tax returns I have to ask myself why the hell they aren't using that money and air-time to explain how there are going to be jobs available when I graduate.

Romneys tax returns shows EXACTLY why there will be NO jobs when you graduate.

Romney barely pays 14% tax. He says that is TOO MUCH TAX for ROMNEY to be a JOB CREATOR, so he takes it and sends it overseas and creates NO JOBS IN the USA!

    And YOU are screwed!

Obama loves to battle with class warfare. He's passionate about it. He is his most confident when talking about spreading it around. If they want Obama to rise up with courage it is his perfect topic. And if he does this he'll be the last one to realize he lost yet another debate.

This is about the most ridiculous comment I have ever seen! Your class warfare crap isn't working, do you understand? People are too smart for this....thank God.

To you...the country is in trouble because the because a rich person paid 14% on money that he already paid 38% on. Yep, spoken like a true genius.

What I don't get is that if they know he is only barely paying 14% in taxes then what else do they hope to find by seeing his tax returns? Apparently they already know what's in them so what is their true motive?

There motive is to vilify. They don't really care what he paid in taxes, they already know he's not doing anything illegal....they just don't care, it's a tactic. They must diminish their opponent...just like old Joe tried to do to Ryan during the debate. They are losing...they will always lose. Americans can see their desperation. I hope they continue with this nonsense, right up until November 6th....in fact I hope to God that Obama has the guts to bring this up during the debate with Mitt, and if Mitt is smart (which I know he is) every single question that is asked next week....Mitt will end with something about Libya. Use the same tactic on Obama is what I say, the difference is Mitt has the back-up proof that Obama and his team of radicals has lied repeatedly about Benghazi....Obama only has words.

After all Obama did teach Saul Alinsky "Rules for Radicals" and Hillary also took a course.

"Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty

"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage."

"A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

"The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign."

The first two years they had a near super majority in both houses. They passed the Porkulus bill without a single Republican vote in the House and 3 Rino's in the Senate.

Disappointment, distrust and abject hatred of Big Fed are hovering around all time highs......

Giant brained leftists trying desperately to manufacture and attach negative connotations to 'sticking it to the hated tax-man' is a serious misinterpretation of the current environment....

    Please continue.

Maybe they should stick with the Big Bird attacks.

    You wish.

I did a whole series on off-shore tax shelters and Romney's use of them. I wonder in the Mittster took advantage of the tax amnesty granted for people who used European tax shelters. It would have been in one of the years he hasn't seen fit to release his returns. Romney was up to his carefully styled eyebrows in the whole off-shore tax shelter racket.

"Obama Camps Next Attack:Romney's Tax Returns"

Romney could release them... what is he afraid of.. the truth?

if one fears the truth more then what they allege to be a lie... then the truth must really show them in a bad light

What are suggesting by saying "off-shore tax shelter racket"? Are you suggesting Romney is a criminal? That he used illegal means to shelter his assets? If so, do you have any proof of this illegal activity? Or are you just pissed off because he's wealthy and smart enough to legally protect some of his wealth?

I've never understood the term RINO (Republican in Name Only).

The Senate is the elitist house of the Congress. This was intentional.

The norm in Congress is that the two major parties (at least) are establishment hawks. In almost every respect.

Seems like these RINOs we hear so much about are actually just extremely pro-establishment Republicans. It's the representatives who go against the flow who are the actual RINOs. Same goes for "DINOs" (although they'd call them corporate Democrats or something). Basically my objection is that you assume the Republican party isn't full of pro-government-when-it-suits-them social totalitarians.

But does it really matter? Maybe, but we have a debate coming up.
As I understand it, Gallop, who has been threatened with, but not severed, a law suit via the DOJ is selecting the so called "undecided" voters. What could possibly go wrong there?
Then we have a moderator, a devout Obama supporter, selecting questions she deems appropriate from those submitted by these undecideds and will then be in charge of "controlling" the back and forth between Obama (who she supports) & Romney. Again, what could possibly go wrong?

I agree, Obama and his team have been a little off their game, but we're not playing on level field. There's plenty off time for an Obama game changer and as we've witnessed for 4 years, the liberal media is more than happy to assist Obama in anyway they can. And, with the stakes this high, I doubt they'll disappoint him.

However, I'm sure Romney is fully aware of what he's up agianst. So far he's proven himself up for the task. Ryan as well. If Romney can do well in this upcoming debate, despite the deck being staked in Obama's favor, I'd give him a very good chance of winning in Nov.

Obama is going to again do horrible in the debate. for once he has nothing to discuss in relation to what he has done because its been a failure.

Secondly He is not a good debater and once Romney takes him to task he is going to hide in the corner like a injured dog.

Very impressive sounding titles for what would seemingly pass for intellectual stylization on ones position in stature, but I assure you, it is far, far less sophisticated. A politician is merely in it for his/her self...first and foremost.

So the libbies all had a term for anyone who didn't believe obama's birth certificate was real...they called them, what..."birthers". So now that they've latched onto the exact same mentality, only for Romney's tax returns, what shall we label them? "Taxers"?

Nahhhh...I still just call them idiots.
