What President in recent history has ever won with unemployment over 8% and 0% GDP growth rate?

There was a guy named Roosevelt who won four terms as I recall. And he didn't turn the Hoover economy around in his first term. People are going to recall Bush like they recalled Hoover and say "God, anything but another Republican."

    I said recent history.

Bush and the Republicans gave us 52 months of full employment, record revenues, declining deficits down to $161 Billion.

Where do Obama and the Democrats have us after almost 5 years?

Why not look at the last time the Republicans left the country in economic ruin?

Obama has doubled down on the ruin.

I'd rather have had a third term of Bush.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/president_obama_vs_
    republican_candidates.html

Here is the latest poll data.
Obama leads all of the current available Republican candidates. This data is culled from all major poll data, both left and right, and averaged.
RealClearPolitics has been an outstanding resource for the last five years or so.
    Read it and weep.
It's early, and no one should be cracking the champagne quite yet, but the Republicans have split their party in two, making it very difficult for them to form a winning coalition.

I don't suppose you have looked at the economic indicators lately, or compared them to when Bush left office, huh?

But loses to any Democrat in generic Republican vs generic Democrat.

Btw, the only heat Obama is feeling now comes from people to his left, me included. They ain't gonna go Republican.

In spite of the current polls showing a different story?
    Ok.
It's still early. You might turn things around.
Your post must be prophecy, not reportage.
