Anyone else find it odd that libs and other crazy groups that wanted Bush's head for "TWO" waterboarding incidents against FOREIGN terrorists (waterboarding isnt even torture) but Obama KILLS an American citizen....the libs say nothing.. I find it pretty dam hilarious So who else is Obama gonna kill when he doesnt agree with them?
Whats the big diference between killing an american and killing a guy from other country, both are human beings.
You don't get it. Obama can do whaever he wants since he is the choice of the politically correct who find it politically incorrect to criticize their idol. His feet of clay (and war crimes and corruption and political cronyism) don't matter because he is their star.
I know the frustration of two standards....but I'm glad he killed this guy. And I do believe it ethical and legal. This "American Citizen" was an enemy soldier fighting on the opposite side. Wanting to kill americans.
Oh god..... Without getting into the whole hippie culture holding hands crap... I personally am fine with the kill, i just find it hilarious the constant hypocritcy by the left.
The Constitution only protects US Citizens. It is kind of why membership has its privileges. He was not a soldier, he did not fight. He blogged. He wrote anti-American rhetoric on web sites and videos. Imagine if the CIC could just exterminate anyone who did that? Oh... he can. Yes Dware, I care. I couldn't be happier that this piece of (*)(*)(*)(*) wacko will never draw breath again, but I weep for the precedent set.
American by birth...America's enemy by choice. Seems to me that the dude forfeited his citizenship the moment he decided to start killing Americans. He made himself a righteous target and eventually a righteous kill.
So it would have been legal and ethical to attack Ruby Ridge or the Branch Davidian compound with Hellfires missiles?
Federal Law states when you make war against the USA or aid in that war then you lose your citizenship rights.
What is hipocritic in saying an american is no more human than an iraqi and that by being born in america your life is not worth more than the one of an european. Thats not correct.
Then said Federal law is unconstitutional. Nowhere does it say that in the Constitution. For one to be punished under the Constitution, you have to be tried and given a chance to address one's accusers before a jury of your peers.
Once again, I point out the FACT. That any law passed by Congress that isn't specifically tossed out by the Supreme Court is given an automatic presumption of Constitutionality. The Constitution is not a straitjacket.
From what I've seen, a lot of left wingers ARE upset by the killing. It just hasn't gotten much coverage it seems.
It's the whole hypocritical "all men are created equal" idea that we supposedly believe in, yet we limit it to citizens. For the most part, he's actually right. Unlike a lot of other First World governments, the American government does limit several rights to citizens. By contrast, the Australian government extends most rights for its citizens to its non-citizens.
At this point, yes. I never said differently other than to render my personal opinion on the matter, but never have I attempted to push Obamacare's "unconstitutionality" as anything other than my opinion and not a fact. The USSC will take up the issue and it'll be resolved, but for right now.. yes Obamacare is nominally constitutional except in those regions of the country where a lower Federal Court has overthrown it. Personally, I accept whatever judgement the Justices render and if they find Obamacare Constitutional, then so be it. It obviously is... especially if the Roberts' court passes it. I'll have great anxieties towards the future of this nation, but I know and respect the system. If the system destroys itself, well that is due to flaws in it being exploited, but legal is legal. If Obamacare is found Constitutionally valid at least I can take consolation in the fact that due process was given to it and my side lost. That is the biggest flaw with both sides of the aisle. No one is willing to fold the flag when the outcome of further resistance becomes futile and no one has respect for Due Process of Law. Obamacare will be given a fair trial.. what more can anyone ask?
By American citizen are you talking about Anwar al-Awlaki? As far as I'm concerned when you defect you lose citizenship status.
