Obama Recalls All Aircraft Carriers, Setting Up U.S. For Something BIG

There were no carriers at sea for a total of 5 days December 31 to January 4 inclusive.

That had nothing to do with Obama and it doesn't matter, since nothing happened, which makes you a (*)(*)(*)(*)-poor armchair general.

 

Show me where I ever said Obama personally ordered it. Go ahead, back that up.

You know, even if there were zero carriers outside of their homeport for those 5 days, it's not a big deal. Why? Because we have carriers in Bremerton WA, Yokosuka Japan, San Diego CA and Norfolk VA. Those are the 4 ports where carriers are homeported (meaning that is where they stay when they aren't deployed).

So no, there is no danger of all our carriers being taken out if they are in port.

The current events in the S. China Sea, certainly represent "something big". Spineless Obama most surely withdrew the US Pacific fleet to avoid a confrontation he was ill equipped to deal with.

 

And I wait until all 10 are going to Chinese Sea with order of Donald Trump.

 

Trump has indicated Japan, and other Pacific nations should develope their own nuclear arsenals to deter China. IMO that's the best strategy. China uses N. Korea as a nuclear proxy, the US could use a few nuclear proxies of our own. One China, never includes "rogue" N. Korea ... what a load of $h!+

 

If you are referring to China building up the islands there, Obama has flown aircraft over them & driven ships deliberately close to them - all any President can do short of invading. Whatever you might choose to believe, those were 'confrontations'. Additionally Obama is rotating a marine unit through Australia so that there will be a permanent troop presence there. China is not happy.

There is still a US carrier in Japan and another departed for the Western Pacific on January 5, so clearly fear of a 'confrontation' wasn't an issue. China made sure its one carrier was back in port, so I guess China was the one scared about a 'confrontation' with Obama.

 

Yeah ... at best everyone should arm up with nukes then ... because can anyone trust on nuclear skirmish promise which should hinder such an up arming by will of the USA now? North Korea attacks South Korea and Trump will make a shrunk...?

BTW ... In NATO concept there are proxys! German Forces have no nuclear weapons and won't have. But NATO defense strategy is that Germany delivers Jets and pilots where then American nuclear bombs are put under if necessary!

 

The new defense Sec should see to it that these carriers are dispersed immediately. No port should have more than one carrier in it so as to make it a prime target for any enemy.

 

Read the post again. obama's action opened a door of opportunity at an historical time of uncertainty (US transition of power), the fact that nobody publicly stepped through in a way which would make the international news changes nothing about the foolishness of the situation.

 

You have obviously never served in the US Navy, otherwise, you wouldn't have made such a stupid comment. There is a reason that Norfolk, Whidbey Island, San Diego and Yokosuka are all carrier ports. It's because they are some of the FEW ports that can handle letting a carrier berth there. Why do you ask? Because you have very large ships that need very special conditions to be able to dock. I don't know if you understand how big those ships are, but the flight deck alone is 90 ft. off the water, and they generally carry a draft of around 40 ft.

There was no 'door', there was no 'opportunity'. There were just a bunch of people who were either trolling or delusional. The reason, of course, is that there was no scenario to construct where these carriers being in port actually opened any 'door', especially one relating to Israel.

In a way, I understand your perspective, if a person cannot think abstractly and cannot think in terms of future advantages then the world would seem to be a very bewildering place and forward thinking would appear to be trolling and delusion.
