Right now I'm watching Obama talk about his Jobs Bill.

He stated "Legislators who vote against this bill will need to explain themselves" (paraphrased of course)

    Three Questions:

    1. Why is the President introducing legislation?

That is not his job, that is not the powers of the Executive Branch of government. That is the job of Congress.

    2. What power does he have to demand any congressman explain his vote to him?

    3. How arrogant that he assumes he, a single individual all by himself possesses the specific knowledge to fix our economy - especially as he hasn't done much to help up to this point.

This is bizarre, it is like our political system turned upside down. This guy is a stupid ass who is incompetent and does not understand our government.

Congress creates legislation, the president ratifies into law or vetoes.

The sooner he is gone, the better.
He has dictator written all over him - do it my way or explain yourself.

    UPDATE:

    He now stated specifically -
"Any legislator who does not vote for my bill will need to explain themselves to me"

. . . who does he think he is?

I am unhappy with Congress. The thing about Congress is that they can always just obstruct the President, even if he has some good ideas to help the country and then turn around blame him for their obstructionism. That is why I am going to start voting more in the elections of Congressmen in addition to voting at the National level which decides who will be President. I think that the elections at the local and Congressional level are more important than the election at the National level which decides who will be president. My preference is to think small and more locally and vote accordingly. By thinking small, thinking and voting more locally, my vote will have a bigger impact at the National level because local and Congressional politics influences the National level much more in my opinion than who is President.

Jobs bill? You think this is a jobs bill because the white house calls it that? It is a spending bill. Congress should walk as far away from it as possible.

The only realistic way to create jobs is if we invest in ourselves and take steps to make sure we have the best education system in the world. Investment in our own country, making sure that our public schools is the best in the world and a top notch university education is accessible to anybody who is serious about getting a good college education are some of the keys to jobs creation. That and a business friendly environment that is regulated, but not overly regulated to where it kills economic growth or harms our ability to compete successfully in the global economy.

Perhaps I lost count but I think there have been 12 presidents during my lifetime. I have seen virtually no difference between any of them. They have been uniformly incompetent. The political parties all say different things but they do the same things when they get in to power.

Decisions should always be made at the lowest level possible because that closer to where the "rubber meets the road."

The President has Executive Privilege. Obama is not doing anything out of the ordinary.
