This is a letter to the editor of a paper I read this morning. This guys nails it... Obama administration wants to keep Americans afraid: Why is it that every six months or so the Obama administration warns us of another impending economic disaster? The Great Recession, sequestration, fiscal cliff, debt ceiling -- are all allegedly threatening the livelihood of seniors, veterans, cops, teachers, kids. WhatÂ’s going on here? The answer is found in the Chicago community organizer's handbook, "Rules for Radicals," by the vile social engineer Saul Alinsky, whom President Barack Obama and his cronies follow. To transform society, the people must be kept in a continual state of agitation, doubt and fear over their livelihood. So Obama and the press cleverly create one phony crisis after another in order to break down our morale so we turn to him for salvation and blame the GOP for the problem. Obama's pal, Rahm Emmanuel, acknowledged this tactic when he said, "Never let a serious crisis go to waste."
I agree that Obama is milking the scare tactic cow. But it's not just him, its Tom, Dick, and Harry as well. News stations thrive on these 'on the edge' moments rather their pro Obama or anti Obama. However what I hate is this scare tactic is being used on the right as well, but the democrats are in a better position and better at using this tactic. Everyone is like a moth to the fire asking what needs to be done, why isn't the other party compromising?! He is the master of playing on emotions and I have a feeling he is going to keep us in a 'crisis' all the way into 2016 so the Democrats can sweep the elections. It's a dirty trick.
This sequester thing is such bull(*)(*)(*)(*). There is more wasted money in Washington spent on all kinds of frivolous things, that 85 billion is chump change. Of course Obama's salary is untouchable. I cannot think of a more hypocritical, clueless, destructive and moronic Administration.
