In a startling twist of life imitating art, CBS has revealed that on the first day of the Obamacare roll out, just SIX people registered, not the 4.7 million implied in White House news releases. The astonishing revelation comes in the wake of a Saturday Night Live skit which, eerily predicted that figure exactly: Six http://wtop.com/289/3495649/Obamacare-skit-by-SNL-correctly-predicts-the-future However the most telling numbers are from the White House itself, where even CBS is doubting Obama administration claims their 7 million registration figure will be met. It is slow, and gaining, however the administration needs and average of 39 thousand sign ups a day to reach the target: That now is already becoming unlikely: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_1...ts-got-off-to-very-slow-start-documents-show/
Yep, it had so many hits it blew the fuses on the website like a doss attack. Imagine that 4.7 million Americans hitting that website to get some Obama Care. Faith Based Charitys never had it so good, it took Bush two years to get even a few churches enrolled, and we all know that program was a complete failure, people are still starving and living in the streets. I guess we have to give it a few years to get everbody enrolled. I really hold the republicans responsible for this debacle. They have sat on their hands for 4 years and did nothing to prevent this from happening. If they have, where is the legislation?
Always Bush! They didn't get the job done. They blew $600 million dollars. Enough excuses! Obama was supposed to be better than Bush, not worse. This is Katrina.
I have to agree with banchie, the Republicans had this coming. They have thrown out nothing to oppose Obamacare. If anything Obama has done a favor by at least getting the healthcare ball rolling.
No matter the glitches, the medical care program is successful in that it is solidly reinforcing the existing corrupt anti-health medical system racket designed to both impoverish Americans and to quietly bump them off.
