Europe and America have law enforcement problems, but they tend to be on opposite sides of the spectrum. Police in America are often too aggressive. Police in Europe seem to more commonly be too timid, like in the U.K.
I dont know what kind of europe you are thinking of. In my country and in most of the southern countries cops aint timid.
Maybe it's just the U.K. then. The cops there seemed pretty timid in reaction to the rioters in Tottenham.
Problem with USA -- and that's what I am aiming at -- is they have a "celebrity culture" gone crazy. Anyone on a stage is sacred. Flag, do you know who Karl Rove is? I assume you do. Anyways, he got "mic checked" (you can see video on YouTube) at one of his outrageous speeches -- police dragged protestors out of a university assembly hall for raising their voices! Unbelievable!

I certainly hope so. Their backers included such fringe groups as the Communist Party USA, American Nazi Party, Ayatollah Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, The government of North Korea, Louis Farrakhan, David Duke, Communist Party of China, Barack Obama, etc. They see a symptom of big government, but miss the real problem.
