A Washington Post/Bloomberg poll -- ahead of tonight’s debate -- shows Romney holding steady at 24% and Herman Cain vaulting to second place with 16%, followed by Rick Perry 13%, Ron Paul 6%, Michele Bachmann 4%, Newt Gingrich 3%, Rick Santorum 1%, and Jon Huntsman at… 0.

I like using the opposition for some info.

So ..Can Paul make a game and win this without getting 5 minutes ?

Do they continue to attack Romney on health care ?
It is a debate on economics..and it does open up Perry's record in Texas.. of allowing illegals to get more than what Americans receive..

    Does Hunstman defend Mormons ?
or sit idly by and let Romney take the heat ?

    Cain ?
Does saying 9.9.9 and grinning make him the winner ? :-D

    who else ?

The field should be eliminated down to 4 after tonight's debate.

I want to see Cain on fire sharp. I'm hoping that with his newfound prominence he has used his time off the trail to work on delivery of his message and brush up a butt load on foreign policy.

I really wish Newt wasn't such a clay-footed gnome, because he has the most to offer on substance.

I am thinking today's events might be raised for discussion.
Cain will certainly have to answer something more than 9.9.9.

I heard all of them are going to be battered on their stances on the Soros Wall Street Fest. I hope they are grilled because that will show who among them has the balls to say the truth and not play Johnny Populist Assbag.:fart:

I am willing to bet a burger or a pizza that Romney will not attack the Wall Street protesters as un American.
Maybe mis guided..considering who leads them.

My initial take on the debates...

Romney had a gotcha question.. fumbled on the economic crises spreading Here..recovered but no net gain.
He didn't attack anybody..and this is especially true with the final question directed to Bachmann..He didn't fall into the trap of giving your closest competitor more face time..VERY SMART.

Will somebody wake Perry up ?
He almost seems like he is just bored..going through the motions to please the far right. His lack of energy and commitment to cause..seems really lacking.
If he was a Mormon he wouldn't be there.

Cain and 9.9.9 ...So add that national sales tax to your state sales tax and you get Screwed..:omg:
Add the fact Cain is not elected for life..and the next democrat would just raise that up and give wavers to those making under $25,000..solving nothing.
Add the fact he has no congressional support..and I see him as a possible VP.

Newt was being nice to Romney..he wants and deserves a job later and will be rewarded.

Paul was Paul and HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ASKED THE GOTCHA question that Romney fumbled on.
He had pitches playing right into his bat.
Foreign policy is his weakest point..and most dangerous.
With all that happened with Iran going on..not 1 tough question about what Paul would do ?

    Set up..

The rest are just taking up space..all better than what we have..but not quite good enough.

Perry had recent back surgery, and has lots of pain requiring meds. He didn't lose ground tonight, and will get rolling in the next few debates.
