But countries in Latin America and many other parts of the world are even more corrupt. They make America look like a bastion of integrity by comparison.

And national security, and China pumping Fentanyl into our country, and cartels pumping drugs and crime into our country. There are reasons civilized countries don't allow illegal immigrants to enter or stay. For some reason the left isn't civilized in its thinking. I get the poor people need a chance card what I don't get is acting like there are serious national security issues. We've caught like 70 on the terrorist watch list, how many got through that didn't get caught???

And you would fault people for wanting to come here from there? You would even call them criminals just for seeking a better life? I think you need to be more of that Bible you were talking to me about.

I don’t know, I’m not afraid of terrorists. I imagine their may be a terrorist attack again at some point, but I sure as hell am not going to act like an ******* to people trying to find a better life because I’m frightened of some terrorists. I’ve dealt with people our government has labeled as terrorists, and many probably don’t deserve that title. Some do. But I certainly won’t waste my life being afraid of my own shadow over that.

Yes, I saw in the news that the rapist is a Latino.

What I don't know, and maybe someone who has followed this story might be able to tell me, is whether or not the 10-year-old girl was a relative of the rapist?

The issue is more that he is an illegal migrant than being about his ethnicity.

I don't think that information has been released, due to child privacy laws.

Yes, everyone knew what he was as soon as we saw the picture. We knew! And a million PC'ers fainted at the news broadcast photo.
Oh, then we'll never know if it was a family thing or a decline in neighborhood safety thing.

I don't think it's a family member, otherwise the mom of the girl would not be talking that way in the interview.

However, the mom probably is Hispanic, since she gave the interview to the Spanish-language news organization Telemundo.
I think we can also assume the mom is a legal immigrant, or possibly child of immigrants, since she is advocating for the perpetrator's deportation.

So you would be ok if the rapist married her before raping her. What 12 year old girl wants to get married

What difference does it make that he is an illegal immigrant? It would have been ok if the rapist was legal or US born ?

I'm just totally pulling these numbers out of a hat, so they are not exact.
Suppose there are 100 crimes each year. There are 100 people, and three of them are illegal migrants. Suppose 30 of those crimes are committed by one of those migrants. Wouldn't it make sense, if practically possible, to have prevented that migrant from coming?

    Does that answer your question?

If the media wants to try to use a single anecdotal story to try to prove a point, without statistics, it is fair game if the other side can find something about that same story to illustrate another point. I mean, if undocumented migrants were just as likely as anyone else to have done something like this, what are the chances it would be an undocumented migrant in this story? (Which the media highlighted for a separate reason and gave lots of coverage to)

    What part don't you understand?

You don't see why it matters? How a different government policy could have prevented this girl from needing an abortion.

Nah, they'll never get him in jail. He'll get on his, er excuse me, the T**** campaign's yacht and use the bankruptcy proof the T**** campaign's bank account to finance food and pretty girls to hang out on that boat just outside territorial waters. and invite buddies to come enjoy the views. Oh, and of course Melania can visit too but she'll have to respect the topless rule.
