Didn’t you get the memo? We don’t do that anymore since we had a banana republic clownshow trial on national television where we had House members declaring an ex president guilty of criminal activity over and over again ad nausea for weeks on end without a trial or even a charge of a crime.

Justified, unless she was sleeping in her bed?

Thanks for starting this tragic but compelling thread.

If we've learned anything from repeated tragedies like this, I hope we've learned that "No Knock" warrants and similar rushed ambushes of American citizens are the antithesis to making our streets and homes any safer.

Since brazen break ins and home invasions are becoming more plentiful, it is perfectly rational and justified for citizens to treat all rushed home invasions as a malevolent attacks on one's life and the lives of one's family members.

Finally, I don't think that it is as important that these officers lose their jobs as it is that No Knock and similar ambush style warrant serving be abolished for the safety of all.

Oh so shooting an unarmed perp who has done nothing more than trespass is justified.

So tell me what your problem with them shooting this ACTUAL criminal was?

Because it sounds like to me you have no problem with police officers executing unarmed civilians.

How is that disgusting? They had announced multiples of times they were there and were sending a dog (officer) in. They had to assume he heard them and as soon as they opened the door he jumped up. He had to be shot. If he had a gun he would have shot multiple officers before they could stop him.

But that's the whole POINT. It's NOT a trial, it's an INVESTIGATION. They asked proponents of the former President to be on the Committee but were declined. Hell, there can be little doubt they would have welcomed Trump himself if he had agreed to come.

I don't think any unarmed person should be shot by "mistake". That being said the proper position to be found in under those circumstances is UNDER the bed in the fetal position.

They only announced when they entered the front door and when they saw a second person, but the one officer never identified himself as he entered the room. They went there because of the dog who detected a human presence in that room. The bedroom door was closed and as he opened it, he fired.

That is not justified at all. Yes, the police were serving a warrant on the person who was shot. But the person offered no resistance, did not obey any commands because none were given to him specifically, AT THAT TIME, and he was really too quick. But the polce can always do the reverse, issue and execute an arrest search warrant on you, and do the exact same thing. Would that be justified on you ShadowX?

No sir. They had House members on national television stating UNEQUIVOCALLY that trump was guilty of criminal activity.

That’s not an investigation. That’s declaring a man guilty without a trial which is EXACTLY the purpose behind “innocent until proven guilty”… to eliminate that type of behavior.

He did announce it. He said hey I’m sending the dog in. He obviously knew they were there. They even slammed the door right beside his room before they said it.

House members are just people, they aren't even under oath to my knowledge

They are free to state their opinion as citizens.

If Trump felt he was being badly treated why didn't he show up, or even send a representative?

Because they SAW Trump insurrecting, along with the entirety of the rest of the WORLD and all the Trumpers too
It reminds me of the Gahan Wilson cartoon. This guy is pictured shooting someone on tv, blood is spraying from the gruesome head wound over everyone close by and all the other observers are recoiling in horror. An electronic label is attached to the murderer on the tv screen. It says "alleged assassin"
