Likewise what? I Never claimed something existed. You did. The burden of proof is on you.

Are you referring to your reply here? After-all it makes perfect sense.

Are you defending those who would watch your head roll, as they film it? Technically it is that, which is retardation.

Never once slandered anybody, but you are right now for falsely accusing me of it.

I think sooner or later, you will not only have to get over it, but you will.

I never saw Elvis but I'm quite prepared to believe he existed because I'll take the word of the thousands who saw him.
Likewise, thousands saw Jesus and I'm quite prepared to believe them too..:)

He was just a Persinger and I've seen hundreds of those today.
That's fine, I believe Jesus was a man and God, in fact I worship him. He's my God. But I'm not going to say that because I do believe what I do it is therefore proven. Jesus Christ himself said there is no proof. You walk by faith alone.

That doesn't prove he existed, it doesn't prove he is God either.

I have said numerous times, it is only the individual that can prove God. However there is mountains of circumstantial evidence. Circumstantial evidence is never considered proof. But in my opinion, once so much is accumulated, one is forced to not only look at it, but decide as well.

If you got a little butthurt because I referred to religon as a cult, that isn't slander. Organized religon meets the definition of a cult in a lot of cases. The Watchtower cult, the Vatican cult the Mormon cult, just to name a few.

Of course it is, groups of poeple don't often prove things.
You're mistaken. It's only circumstantial evidence if you hold the bias that there is indeed a god.
Beliefs are never considered evidence, circumstantial or otherwise.
So far, nothing has been accumulated.

Where is the quote icon that allows you to put the lines in green like that. I knew how to do it before the update, but the icon is no longer there. How do you put them in lines like on post # 769

Good for you mate, we don't need organised religion to do our thinking for us, keep it up and Jesus will want you as a chum..:)
Jesus said- "You have one teacher, me" (Matt 23:10)
"You're my friends if you follow me. I don't call you servants, but I call you friends"- (John 15:15)

The same logic applies; certain things can be ruled out as just not being rational possibilities (keep in mind that I am speaking specifically about the biblical God. A deistic Creator, for instance, does not come with all the illogical and counterfactual baggage that makes Yahweh a non-starter). For instance, I'm fairly certain that you would think creation myths from other cultures are unworthy of consideration and reject them out of hand. Did you ever think it was a real possibility that Shiva or Marduk created the universe?

I type a [ than all caps type QUOTE than type a ] in front of the info I'm quoting. Then type a [ followed by a / than type QUOTE and a ] after it, that is how I put it in boxes like that. I never knew of the automatic feature. Seems easier just to type it out.

I'd say religion in general is not necessary.
