    While I disagree about the emphasis, there is no secular state in the minds of many Muslims.
    It depends on how a Muslim views Islam.

    Why do you pick on the Sultan, he only follows other Muslim countries:
    In Africa, male homosexual acts remain punishable by death in Mauritania, Sudan, and some parts of Nigeria and Somalia.
    In Asia, male homosexual acts remain punishable by death in Brunei, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

    Your statement here is not based in, logic, when you consider how hundreds of millions of racism's evil White citizens have called themselves true to Racism and true to America, simultaneously. Are they lying to one of them? Is the KKK or White Nationalists lying to racism or America? Should you say "no" then... If you feel that it's okay for them/they can do it, and make their claim? Then why can't Omar??

    America is still not going to stone, gays, no matter how much Omar wishes we would. So it doesn't matter that she gets to still have her own, deeply, personal feelings about real life.

    Not every part of her life is, public service, as she still gets to enjoy life within her private feelings ---especially on issues which have nothing to do with American politics.

    Well, mike pence would be violating his christian views if he tried to say that stoning gays was wrong. I mean he probably won't, but if he did, he wouldn't be a strict christian.

    You are mistaken. A less knowledgable opinion by an sincere, honest and objective poster about Islam may be far more valuable than the opinion of an enemy of Islam intent on using disinformation to discredit the faith. Your knowledge is only of value assuming you use it dispassionately, objectively and honorably.

    I am ignorant about Islam, but I can smell a bigot and an Islamophobe a mile away. Knowledge in the hands of an untrustworthy source is dangerous, not helpful.
