Regardless of what ones politics are, it is clear Michele Bachmann is a major threat to winning the GOP nomination and presidency. There is a reason why I believe Michele Bachmann won the Iowa straw poll, she is not pretentious - she speaks from her heart. People like that. I also know that Bachmann is a major threat simply due to how the Democrat-Media Complex and the left are showing there sexism and hatred towards Bachmann. If Bachmann was not a serious threat, they would NOT be attacking like they are. Bachmann is a serious contender, she will be in the final 3 with Perry and Romney.

IMO, I think it will come down to Perry and Bachmann for the nominee, Romney just comes across as too much of an establishment type Republican, people want something new, different, they have that in Bachmann. Will Bachmann beat out Perry? It is too early to tell, but given the hate-filled reactions from the left, clearly they take her seriously, why be wasting all that hate on her when they can direct their hate at other GOP contenders? Nuff said!! Here is an interesting article to read about the parallels!

....Parallels to Obama? Why would this be a good thing in the minds of Republican voters?

I hope not. She cannot win, and to give her the nod effectively sinks the election for the GOP.

I agree. She serves well to drive the debate, but cannot win.

It's gonna be Perry or Romney unless something really unexpected happens.

To me it's the veep spot that's interesting....that needs to go to a fiscal conservative or TP type. I favor Ron Paul.

No. Bachmann is the Hillary of 2012......Perry is the Obama of 2012 as he will get the nomination.

That's where the comparisons to Obama end, however, because neither of them will become president.

She's playing the "tank" role for whoever the real candidate will be. Absorbing all the usual smear nonsense the left likes to throw out there. Nothing like a strang, conservative woman to get the lefts panties in a twist.

They'll keep focusing on slinging mud at her, and hopefully the electable candidate won't have to deal with as much.
