    Japan did not destroy Russia. Nor could it. The war ended with the Portmund Peace Treaty. And yes, a part of Sakhalin, which had previously belonged to the Japanese, was assigned to them. But that was during the first Russian revolution 1905. But what was the result? Who owns Sakhalin now? Who owns the Kurils? Who owns the Sea of Okhotsk? Watch the finale. And learn history.

    Look at the size of Russia. It all started with the Principality of Moscow.

    that was my original post son.

    Japan held Guam for a year before we liberated it. Japan held Sakhalin for 40 years before we liberated it for the Soviets
