OP is based upon the THEIST fallacy that the universe was "created from nothing".

Okay...an interesting explanation of the ways science functions with a guy who says he talks to plants while debasing science for admitting they use hypothesis. Every cosmologist will clearly state that much of theory is speculation, including the Big Bang and Dark matter/energy....beats the hell out of just making up a "God Did It" fable.

That is the point. The big bang is the one free miracle upon which all science is based. It is an theistic leap of faith.

The Big Bang is an hypothesis (the best one) based on observed data to posit likely explanation for what we have noted. When compared to your alternative it becomes even more credible as possibility as creation of everything by an unconfirmed and unknown entity because it thought it into being is untenable and incompatible with reality based observation...basically it is obvious fantasy and has no place in science.

It might be a big bounce, emerging from the collapse of a previous universe. There is theory to support that, and possible ways to test it. At least scientists test their theories, unlike the god botherers.

Buddha said we can't go back and observe it, so don't waste time on speculation about the origin.

No they won't. Theories by definition are not based on speculation.

Stick to subjects you have studied in high school already.

You should debate Sheldrake. He would inform you of many things you are clueless about. And perhaps you should do some research into plants, which is his field of expertise. If he talks to plants he does it for a good reason. He isn't some nutcase, but he does question many things, like the dogma seen in science.

The guy is brilliant, but his questioning is now taboo? Shows you where science is at, nothing more than that, and not perhaps a good place. When you can question intelligently as he does, to attack him is arrogant nonsense. Science has always questioned. When it stops, as your mentality illustrates, science is not helped.

What is a good reason, the plants are bored; they need a good talking to, they voted for trump?

Does he talk to rocks or just plants?

    Do the plants talk back?

Your understanding of the scientific method is sadly inadequate. Speculation IS the basis of literally every hypothesis ever created, Hypothesis is the basis for every theory ever created and most data accumulated is derived from both. Your feeble attempt at insult is completely ineffective if only because YOU are the individual stating it and it applies more to you than me.

He probably also said there's nohing wrong with candles, so don't bother with electricity.
