So you don't know how it's worse? Because that was a pretty pathetic dodge. And the healthcare system is not run by the government. It's the private sector
They don't seem to know how insurance works, much less the ACA. They seem to think that having a large group of people pay a small premium against the possibility that a small part of that group may need the money at some point is some sort of leftist, socialist, communist, insert-the-ist here plot. Which would come as news to United Health Care, Met Life, Aetna, or any of the other thousands of insurance companies around here.
Uh, Doctors don't have the right to put and elderly family member in to hospice without the family's consent.
It's not, they're just moving the poor with no insurance into the category with the middle class and making them pay more and get less to cover the the poor who can't pay anything. As long as you're OK with paying a lot more and getting much less for you and your family, it's all good....right?
Compared to what? To the miserable policies that exempted huge swaths of coverage for an uneducated public and left the taxpayers and medical centers with 100's of thousands of bankruptcies even for people who HAD health insurance designed to be "low-cost" by the insurance industry, whose salesmen simply eliminated many of the the most expensive items but made sure it sounded OK to a gullible "invincible" public who thought "Well, I know how to fall off my bicycle because of my military training so I never will be seriously injured! Who needs to pay for comprehensive health coverage??" (I am paraphrasing someone Prof Peabody knows well!)
Really? I'm sure you believe that but there's ample proof to the contrary. Even a left wing Daily KOS(sacks) blogger got stung. - - - Updated - - - I hope what ever deal you got with Obama Care you can get the remainder of your money back.
Anecdotal nonsense. You need to post the EoB's side by side. None of you have been willing to do it, because the claims are bull(*)(*)(*)(*)
explanation of benefits. it lists the policy terms/benefits/premiums. I'm not the one making bull(*)(*)(*)(*) claims. The onus is on you to prove your claims. anecdotal stories are not proof.
BS Claims? I've posted a Hundred time the Covered California crap deductibles and yearly out of pockets, but for you I'll make an exception. Say a kid takes a bad spill off a skate board while Mom and Dad are at work around and he's down on the ground. A passerby calls 911. The ambulance($250) picks him up and off to the Emergency Room ($250) he goes. They call you and you go flying down there. You get there and the Doctor sends him off for an X-Ray ($65). Nothing broken show up, but he's in a lot of pain so off for an MRI ($250) so they can see the extent of the soft tissue damage. He pulled a tendon, give 'em a brace and some crutches and off to the Pharmacy for the pain meds ($25). So lets see how this breaks down. This month you've paid $XXX premium, and $840 out of pocket. Of the $840 on the check you just wrote $315 reduces your yearly deductible, but does not apply to your yearly out of pocket. The other $525 are not subject to any deductible and does count toward your yearly out of pocket $12,600. These are the California Plans which are quite generous. Since you claim this is better than the existing plans please post yours with a link
You're not proving anything here. You need to post an EoB of a policy for 2013 and one beginning in 2014 for the same person and compare the policies and premiums. If the policies are the same and the premium has doubled, then your claims are not bull(*)(*)(*)(*). Right now they are. If you post the EoB's and the one in 2014 has less benefits for more premium, your claims are not bull(*)(*)(*)(*). Right now they are. None of you can do this because your claims are bull(*)(*)(*)(*)
No you need to post the one you claim is worse, you can't because you know your claims are bull(*)(*)(*)(*).
It's not my assertion. You made the bull(*)(*)(*)(*) claim that benefits are less but premiums are higher. I called you on that bull(*)(*)(*)(*) claim and challenged you to prove it. Only way you can do that is by posting a side by side comparison of 2 EoB' for the same person. You can't do it, because it's made up fear mongering bull(*)(*)(*)(*) - - - Updated - - - And with that final dodge I accept your concession.
Lol, my reputation is just fine. I'm not making bull(*)(*)(*)(*) claims and running away when challenged.
I just posted your bull(*)(*)(*)(*) claim. You said we're not paying more and getting less. I posted what your getting with Obama Care, now prove your point that we're not paying more and getting less. PROVE IT!
You made the claim, I responded to that claim. I challenged you to prove it and you've been running scared since. Your claim......... It's pathetic watching you guys make these bull(*)(*)(*)(*) fear mongering claims that you can't back up
All of the insurance companies participating in the exchange also cover people that get it through their employer. Hospitals would lose their contract with the insurance company if they know they got it through the exchange and denied care. There is no way they can be separated and still remain contracted with health providers.
