Opening arguments in Criminal Defendant Trump's NY trial on Monday, 22 April 2024

All of the delay tactics, all of the threats, all of the whining and bellyaching, the deluge of hatred toward anyone he even thinks is his enemy - not a bit of this worked for criminal defendant Donald J. Trump. The jury of 12 (+6 alternates) is set and on coming Monday this thing begins.

Next week, Judge Merchan will be holding a special hearing to ascertain whether or not Trump has violated the gag order on multiple occasions, also whether or not he intimidated potential jurors. The prosecution wants him jailed right now, which would have already happened to any other person on this planet not named Trump. I suspect that the hearing will be interesting. Under threat of jail-time, Trump must appear at the hearing.

Also, a Sandoval hearing is in the offing as Trump has said he plans to testify, which opens the prosecution to propose mentioning all sorts of other transgressions on Trump's part as part of their right to do all they can to impeach his credibility. Sandoval in the legal world means, in a nutshell, that the prosecution is required to publicly disclose what it intends to use in order to impeach a the character of a defendant at his own trial. It is totally legal, but the judge has the discretion to say what will be allowed and what not. But in a way, in the moment that Trump said he would testify (he probably won't because he is a total *****), he did the prosecution a big favor as they can now go public and also impeach him in the public square just as he has been attacking judges, their wives, their daughters, their clerks, etc etc.

Even better: In order to make sure that ******* Trump's headache is a real migrane headache, in the civil trial, it really looks as if the 175 million bond that was posted is a real ****-sandwich, the firm screwed up the paperwork on multiple occasions and when instructed to prove they actually had the 175 million to front-up, even the last page of their document, the signature page, was taken from the EJ Caroll II case, which in and of itself is likely a felony offense. This **** firm out of California that does sub-prime loans for suckers down on their luck and then funnels the money to offshore accounts on the Cayman Islands, worked out a deal with Trump to have possession of a Schwab account that is supposed to be worth 175 million, but the firm only gets access to the account if they file a notice two days in advance that they are going to access the account, which gives Trump two days to empty the account and that firm can't do a damned thing about it. Also, Trump is promising that the account with worth real assets and/or stocks, but his Truth Social stock is falling like a rock, so yeah, it's a ****-sandwich. The actual worth of the bonding company is 138 million, not even close to the 175 million. So, Letitia James wants the judge to void the bond and require Trump to replace it with a real bond within 7 days. All of this is happening while Trump is sitting in court starting on Monday.

It was sooooo fun to watch Trump bitch and moan that he cannot campaign and then on Wednesday, when he was not in court, he did not campaign. The real reason of course is that his campaign is short on funds and doesn't have the cash to up-front rallies, which are already suffering from poor attendance, anyway.

So, Trump supporters, there you have it: a loser, a liar, a weasal, a little snivelling ***** who is now going to be on trial and cannot get out of it. All behold the glory of Trump!!!

There have been trials in the past where the defendant behaved so badly that he was removed from the courtroom and placed in an adjacent room, with a camera and a monitor. That's what some judges do with insane defendants who cannot control themselves.

Expect fireworks.

No one has touched the simple idea any checks written by Cohen to Stormy were for HIS affair with Stormy....

A judge that has definite family issue related to conflict of interest and definite appears of impropriety as his family is making money off of this fake trial...

 

If there is no conclusive evidence the jury will aquit.
If the judge is corrupt that surly would be dealt with on appeal.
